GoogleI live in a property managed by urban spaces. I had an issue with a tap in my bathroom and Paige from property management had it sorted in a couple of hours! Appreciate the extra mile she went to have the problem solved as soon as possible

GoogleIt's been four weeks, over Christmas, and the boiler (heating and hot water for the flat) still hasn't been fixed. Minimal communication, no compensation, and a deliberately incredibly slow/incompetent approach to maintaining the habitability of the flat. Avoid this estate agent and avoid this apartment (Icon Apartments in Stepney Green).

GoogleI’ve worked with Stephanie at Urban for many years. At times it feels like she’s a magician the way she can pull perfect tenants out of her hat - when other companies have nobody. She’s also the Queen at going the extra mile to guarantee the absolute best terms for your tenancy. With her around I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else other than Urban.

GoogleThe property management team are a disgrace! Urban spaces took advantage of the nightmare of the first COVID lock down to mislead me about the quality and state of the property I was moving in to and then refused to acknowledge the mess the property was as in. (It was not possible to view properties at the time, had I have done I would never have put in an offer on the flat in the first place) The check in report they provided me with was incomplete, I highlighted this after arriving. The key issues were the fact that it was simply not cleaned to a professional standard. There was dirt on the floor and furniture and the mattress had not been cleaned. I had to complete this cleaning myself after moving in. When I reminded them of this issue following my departure I was told by property management that mattress cleaning is optional...(you would have thought that the deep clean of a property would be the highest of priorities given the current situation with this pandemic) Non the less, they requested I pay for professional cleaning that included this service in the checkout cleaning checklist I was provided with despite the fact that they did not ensure this was the service I received and threatened to doc the charges from my deposit anyway.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleI wish I could give less than one star. I had a viewing scheduled for today at 3 PM, but after an hour's drive, I found out it was canceled via an email sent at 2:30 PM. When I called for clarification, both employees I spoke to were indifferent and didn’t offer any apologies or understanding. This level of customer service is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. I expected much better.

GoogleI've been living a flat for over five years rented through this agency in Atrium Height in London until I bought my own place last month. We were given very simple poor quality furniture, so had to buy quite a bit furniture to make it homy. Every half year, they came to inspect and take photos and were very happy. They hold a large amount of deposit and haven't released it yet which is nearly 2 months now since I moved out. When I first contacted them after two weeks moving out, they said they got confirmation and would release when get confirmation from the landlord. A week later, when I chase them again (I need my deposit to pay the bills for my new place), they said they'll deduct my deposit because the landlord had some questions, but didn't mention any reason to me why they wanted to deduct the money. I took very care of the place and also left good value of furniture there because the new tenant wanted them and I plan to buy new furniture for my new place. After a month moving out of the flat, I still didn't receive my deposit and yet in the contract, it says I shall get it within 10 days after I move out. I now had to raise a dispute through TDS to get my deposit back. Also during my last month of tendency, they made an appointment with me for a new tenant to review the flat. I cleaned the flat and made it very nice, and the tenant liked it. Before they were leaving, the agency said to me "I have another five group of people come to review today". I was surprised as it was not mentioned earlier, so asked if it was "today". She confirmed "yes". The new tenant felt the competition then asked "what shall I do to secure the place". After a few minutes they walked downstairs, the agency people came back to knock at my door and said "nobody else is coming to review the flat today". I then realised it was a lie to the new tenant. Be very careful with this agency, even I was a very good tenant, never late for one single payment and took very good care of the flat for such a long time, this still happens to me. So disappointed and cannot trust this agency any more.

GoogleGreat team and great help in selling my Old Street flat. From the outset with Ben Martin the Clerkenwell team communicated brilliantly - selling during the Brexit time of uncertainty was worrying but they found the right buyer for me. Florrie, Venetia and Pete (thanks Pete for your enthusiasm for my new purchase in NXG too!) all helped - knowing the area and particular buyers for a more individual flat all made it happen in a quiet market. I bought the shell 19 years ago via Urban Spaces so selling now completed a great cycle.

GoogleGreat work by Egle - she found the perfect tenants within a short time frame, handled the inventory, the contract and liaised between the tenants and myself, collected the rent and deposited my portion directly into my account. Living in California has made it tricky for me in the past to be available at UK times via phone or Skype and Egle made the whole thing much easier for me. She was very communicative, answered all my questions swiftly and was always available when I had additional concerns. I highly recommend her as an agent.

GoogleWorld class! You don't get better than Ben Martin. Ben worked with us tirelessly to sell a high-end property in a very challenging market. There were many complications and Ben dealt with them with class. We had a single point of contact from beginning to end. He went the extra mile. We were not living in the property during the marketing and negotiations and Ben acted as our hands and feet. He went above and beyond and deserves a HUGE bonus at the end of the year! We highly recommend Urban Spaces, and specifically Ben Martin. It's a refreshing change from the usual property agents you see on the high-street. True professionalism and quality.

GoogleI had the pleasure of working with Urban Spaces for the purchase of my first property. From beginning to end, Doug Stewart and Sarah Wood, were complete professionals and I could not be happier. The property was listed in August and within an hour of the listing going live, I had arranged an appointment to see it with Doug that morning. An offer was made, negotiated and accepted that same afternoon. I had a very nerve-wracking 5 hours, but Doug kept me informed by text and email the entire day, which went quite some way to calm me. For the next couple of weeks, Doug was a consistent point of contact: arranging second viewings, sending me information on contractors, providing advice on timelines and processes and it was great dealing with him. I really value communication and I was never left wondering what was going on or where things stood. After the offer was accepted and I had my mortgage offer approved, Doug handed me over to Sarah, who dealt with the rest of my purchase. I cannot speak more highly of Sarah - not to say that Doug wasn't excellent as he was - but Sarah literally burned the midnight oil to make sure that my sale went through. As a first time home buyer, although I had done my research, the process was completely new to me and we had a few surprises and hurdles pop up. I had a completely useless national conveyancing company and a surprisingly incompetent international lender and if it were not for Sarah, the sale would not have gone through. She pressed on both sides to get answered questions, documents delivered and money into accounts. She stepped in at the last minute with a lifeline to make sure that I secured my first home and I'm still so touched by her efforts that I'm almost in tears now remembering! I met Doug to get keys and a lovely bottle of champagne from Urban Spaces, but I was so happy with the team that I already had champagne and cupcakes for him and Sarah. I mentioned it to Doug on the day, but at no point did I feel like I was not being represented by Urban Spaces. It's a hard balance being a go-between between the buyer and the seller, particularly when trying to get the best possible deal for the seller, but at every point I felt like I was the sole client in the deal. Over the stressful 7 week process, from first viewing the property to getting the keys in my grubby little hands, I was extremely well taken care of. As someone who has worked in sales in some way, shape or form for the past 18 years, it was a case study in account management and I would hire either of them in a minute. I'm now saving up to buy my second property and will definitely be doing it through Doug and Sarah. I would not hesitate to use and recommend Urban Spaces to friends, family and colleagues!

I worked with Richard Jackson and I would highly recommend anyone to work with him. He is really nice, was always available (even out of working hours) and willing to help. Just bought our dream home which was on sale via Urban Spaces. We're grateful to Will and Nikki for making it all happen. They were easy going yet always prompt and transparent with communications by email and phone, swift with arranging viewings and responding to queries and driving the process along. They were professional and pleasant, the completion day was smooth, full sets of keys and the flat was spotless. Amazing home, building and neighbours too! GoogleI've been looking for a space for over a year. I signed up to many agencies - that's one of the problems with the internet these days - too many choices. But the agency that really stood out for me was/is URBAN SPACES. During the course of my search, I was an 'encumbered buyer' meaning I had a place to sell first. Even though the team, especially Marc Lazare knew that, he consistently kept me updated on spaces that were right for me, while I tried to sell my home. Two of my offers fell through when 'unencumbered buyers' (people with cash) were able to purchase before me. But Marc and the team found me a property immediately when I sold my home and we have now exchanged. Having people who understand what you want and go after it for you are stars. It saves so much work and energy. Couldn't have done it without Urban Spaces. I highly recommend them! Thanks, Team US!
