A great rental experience. Prompt reply from the staff and they are so nice, humble and helpful. Guideline and Instruction video are clear and you can see they have put an effort on this apartment. Although some common area of the apartment are still under construction, staff give a great help during this period of time. I would recommend UNCLE to the others.

I've been living in the UNCLE Stockwell building since December with my partner and I have to say this is the least stressful experience with a landlord I've ever had - the move-in process was efficient, the room is clean and more importantly easy to keep clean and the residential team are amazing, especially right now when we're all home due to the coronavirus lockdown. The team are keeping us regularly up to date with everything we need to know and moved super quick to make sure deliveries come to our flats to keep us all safe. Ruth and Duncan are brilliant, so helpful and friendly and I couldn't ask for a better service when anything needs fixing in the flat! Honestly, I love it here. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Had a great time living at Uncle for a number of years and fully recommend. The whole stay has been a lot more hassle free than previous rentals and experience smooth from getting in to having any issues promptly seen to by the always friendly team -Ruth, Duncan, Safiah, Henna and Paul!

Respond to previous reviewer.We've read/heard locally about the issue with Uncle, reported by Alco. It sounds like a serious grievance and needs to be addressed.Aside from the general poor handling of the situation, threats of physical violence and a lack of compassion for those who are sick and/or mentally ill is unacceptable.The longer you take to respond (in a proper manner), the more this person has to suffer the frustration/uncertainty of your inaction. If he has the aforementioned mental health issues then that is simply cruel.

Myself and my Girlfriend have just lived here for nearly 2 months, and we honestly couldn't of chosen a better place to live. when moving to new city, it can get intimidating and daunting, UNCLE, however have provided us with nothing but support and kindness since we've been here. i would most certainly recommend them to any of my friends. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming, always say hello when leaving and entering the building and are willing to help out whenever you ask. They have the best residential staff in town!

Having moved in from December, my experience has been exceptional. The staff are very friendly and helpful.The communal areas are lovely and well thought out including the free gym and yoga studio which everyone needs now and again.The apartments themselves are spacious plus well kitted out with modern appliances and decorated in a neutral colourThe location has been great for me as its only 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly & Oxford Road Train stations and also in good reach of locals shops, bars and restaurants.

Thought I would post a review about my move out experience as people are always worried about how landlords will do everything they can to keep your deposit. My experience of the move out was excellent! I got communication from the team well in advance and they let me know what was going to happen. I got 100% of my deposit back (minus the pre-arranged reasonable cleaning fee). My apartment did have some light damage (marks and scuffs) but they were reasonable enough to put this under fair wear and tear. Most landlords that I have previously dealt with would go around with a magnifying glass and charge for every scratch.Really happy with my time at Uncle and I would highly recommend it!

I've lived in Uncle's New Cross flat since March 2016. It's been great so far. Caroline and Paco are always helpful every issue gets resolved very quickly. They're always available and happy to answer any queries. Over the almost 3 years of living in this place I got really attached to them as it's more like family to me than dealing with landlord who just wants his rent. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a place to rent as it's completely ( in a positive sense ) different standard compared to what I'd experienced before.

Uncle opened my eyes to a totally new way of renting. Years of poor experiences made me cynical and I never believed any of their promises. BUT they actually came through on all of them and exceeded any expectations. Some examples:- Really was easy and fast to get lease signed and moved in- Quite cold during the winter - they invested in extra heating, double glazing and gave us all money back off our heating bills until it was sorted- Simple to check out at the end and no hassles over the return of the full deposit.Thank you for a great year!

I have lived in Uncle Elephant & Castle for 8 months and it has been fantastic! The team go above and beyond not only to make sure that everything runs smoothly but to create a strong sense of community with their resident events. Most of us have become good friends with the entire Uncle team. The facilities are also of the highest standards and are maintained as such. As a young professional I can not recommend Uncle enough. With a busy work life it always gives me peace of mind to know that Uncle is always willing to help with things such collecting deliveries, organising repairs, letting the cleaner into my flat and a lot more.

As a life long renter this is by far the best rental experience I've had to date.The lack of an estate or letting agent midso there's not sharp practice (in our experience) of bring gazumped by another tenant as Uncle make the sign up process transparent, swift and secure. Also, no agent fees!The Uncle team on site are welcoming, vivacious, helpful, and the level of service we've received in all aspects has been excellent. Not sure I can now ever go back to renting through a private landlord and agencies...

As a long time property owner renting was always a scary proposition to me until I needed to move to be closer to work and moved to Uncle Elephant and Castle The team here are amazing! Besides the apartment being fab its the Uncle experience that makes moving in and living here a breeze. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand to answer any queries. Its so good to deal with a professional landlord that totally gets the user experience of renting..The apartments are fab-all mod cons and great views Most of all it is the mix of community events, friendly team and front of house that makes living here a dream!

Ruth, Duncan, Paul and the rest of the team work tirelessly to provide excellent service to all tenants, and was without a doubt the best apartment I’ve had in London.The location is great and offers great views (particularly good for those working from home!).

The on-site team can't do enough for you, whether it's hanging pictures, explaining the tech in the apartment or welcoming guests. They are very reactive. Issues are usually resolved within 24 / 48 hours. Plug and play super fast fibre and ready to go Sky connections made moving in a breeze (with 3 months' free fibre). The views over London are second only to the Shard - it is impossible to get bored of them. Brand new Samsung appliances and being kitted out with well chosen furniture from Made.com are great finishing touches. Close proximity to the tube and in the heart of the vibrant regeneration underway in E&C. As development was completed in 2018 and there are a vast number of apartments, the building obviously has some teething problems - the refuse situation can be improved, lifts are occasionally subject to faults, the concierge is overwhelmed at times with tenant / guest / delivery requests and door slam stoppers need to be / are being fitted. I have faith in the Uncle team to sort these niggles, together with any others that will inherently arise in new builds as they fill up. Keep up the good work.

I would highly recommend living at Uncle New Cross Gate. In essence, this was a total change from previous dealings with private landlords with damp South East London houses. They are very friendly and professional at the office and it made moving in seem very easy and stress free. Communication and service from the landlord has always been very good.The neighbours are friendly, flats well designed and it feels generally a nice building to live in. All maintenance issues were fixed relatively quickly and more importantly having a concierge on the ground floor of the building makes dealing with any issues pretty simple. Although this is a big new development for the New Cross area, there are events linked to the building and to the Red Lion Cafe below regularly being communicated by the staff to drop into.

We love it here, the apartment is really nice, well furnished, reasonable price and great location, as it states there are no hidden fees or extra charges like you get at the estate agents. The facilities in the building are a nice bonus too.I went to every estate agent in town looking for a new place and the fees etc they charge are ludicrous!! Not at Uncle though :)Really great service to get me and my girlfriend in within 3 days of viewing the place, we’ve been here almost 3 months now and haven’t got a single complaint.The staff are really friendly and you get excellent service from then whenever you need anything, we even had help carrying our stuff when we moved in :)Highly recommend

I really can’t rate Uncle Properties highly enough. Their onsite employees were incredibly helpful at all times and went above and beyond to make my rental experience truly exceptional. My flat was designed to the highest specification and offered stunning views. As a full-time wheelchair user, my property was perfect for my accessibility requirements and Uncle were unfailingly attentive, empathetic and accommodating and offered me a very personal service at all times. They were extremely kind and considerate and always went out of their way to ensure that my stay was running smoothly. The onsite social events put on by Uncle was a novel addition to my rental experience and all of Uncle’s employees worked extremely hard to create an ambience of warmth and inclusivity for their residents. In short, the superlative service offered by Uncle was truly phenomenal and I would recommend them unreservedly. I would like to thank Uncle for everything they did to make my time with them truly memorable.

We recently moved to UNCLE Stockwell and have found the staff on the site (Maria, Vanessa, Daniel, Andy) a welcome breath of fresh air. They should be recognised for the exceptional support that they provide - their hard work is the reason that the site runs so well.We spent some time looking around other places in Lambeth / Vauxhall, and the difference between UNCLE Stockwell and comparably priced places is huge. The building is clean, secure and the on-site team are always on hand to rapidly resolve any issues. For what you pay as a tenant here, this is excellent value for money. Our experience has been unreservedly positive and I would recommend UNCLE Stockwell to anyone looking for a flat or studio within easy reach of central London. Thank you guys!

After being recommended the complex, a few of us moved into one of the apartments end of last year. I have never had such a smooth and organised move, with us moving into such a clean and welcoming place. Caroline, Paco and Vivian are all so friendly, and are fast and proactive if we were to ever face an issue with the flat. With that, I’m looking forward to the rest of our time in the community.

I've been a resident in the New Cross apartments now for just over 6 months and can't recommend them enough. I've lived in London for over 15 years now, so have lived in plenty of places North, South, East and West and can honestly say this has been one of the best spots I've lived. A lot of that has to do with a real sense of community around the place which is no small part due to Paco and Caroline's enthusiastic and friendly attitude to managing the apartments. You're really made to feel at home and welcome and part of the Uncle family and not just another number on the books. They've been incredibly helpful in my time here as well as running everything smoothly and effectively.
