These brothers set a high bar as hard working, honest businessmen who deliver 100% and changed my view of estate agents. I found Terence and Jamie via multiple recommendations on the I Love SE4 Facebook group. As a first time seller during Covid, and selling a flat while it was rented out to tenants with a baby, I was nervous about everything. But these guys put in the legwork and they more than delivered. Excellent advice on pricing, superb photography, handling all viewings (liaising directly with my tenant), guiding negotiations, securing a great price, working closely with my solicitor, building a great relationship with the buyer to help the whole process - I could go on but you get the picture. Hire them now.

In the sometimes daunting and frustrating world of estate agents, Jamie and Terence are the good guys. They are knowledgeable, friendly, diligent and genuinely care. I originally met Jamie for the valuation of my property after I had a bad experience with a larger agency and I have to admit I was expecting just the same from another ‘typical’ estate agent. From the very first moments I was told that I would be treated like a person and not a sale figure on a spreadsheet exactly as I felt with the bigger agency. I opted to use Strickland & Co and as the process began, I met Terence and I started to feel like they both really cared about me and my home. They set up a WhatsApp group where all three of us could talk, give updates and book in viewings so there were never any crossed wires! I used to get updates on Sundays after Saturday viewings too! I cannot express how streamlined the whole process was from start to finish and although it was a professional relationship it was great dealing with them as they were always friendly and gave me honest advice.

Terence recently assisted us in the sale our house in the St Johns area and I can honestly say both he and his brother Jamie offered us one of the most professional, effective services I have ever encountered. Within a week of advertising our house and after just one viewing Terence had managed to find a purchaser. Thereafter, his attention to detail and his energy in continuing to push the sale forward was extraordinary. His support throughout, especially during one or two wobbles (not least the implosions caused by Trussonomics) went far beyond the norm and I told Terence that he ever leaves the property business he would have a fruitful career as a social worker! Strickland and Co are not your normal estate agents, their knowledge of the area, their understanding of the sales process and its stresses, their speed of response to every inquiry, no matter how small was amazing. And the extra mile they go to assist their clients is something else. Not only did Terence manage to recommend an excellent solicitor, but he put us in touch with plumbers, electricians and even after the sale was completed he has kept in touch to check on how we are doing.
