GoogleCustomer service is disappointing, they’re unresponsive when you need help, and you constantly have to follow up to get answers or see progress. I wouldn’t recommend them; if you choose to work with them, expect unnecessary frustration.
Ah Kelly, if you were a client of ours you could have contacted us directly to air your grievance and we could have resolved things. But sadly you are not a client and have chosen instead to leave a fake review that seeks to damage us.

GoogleA great property rental agent capable of providing all the services an overseas landlord needs (in my case). A big stand-out for me is their staff. Huw has a team that has surprised me with how much they do and how well they do it, often behind the scene. Things went wrong with my tenant (through no fault of Shaws) and the competence of the people there pulled an amazingly good result seemingly out of the blue. Daniel is a star performer who gets difficult things done and I have a lot of respect and appreciation for him, together with Huw, Olivia and Malcolm. Thanks to you all for working through my tenant problems. Highly recommended.

GoogleTrying to charge us our entire deposit (to put it in context we have never lost anything from a deposit other than inventory fees etc). Including;£125 for a toaster that was 5 years old and retails at £14.99, £30 for a piece of blue tac on the wall, a charge for 'missing' items that you can actually see on the check out inventory photos, an attempted charge for keys not returned that again are photographed on the inventory in the agreed place and two amounts of £10 and £30 for the same throw that is in the cupboard. Only response we get from them is that [we] facilitate your landlady and if you don't like the charges then you can go to TDS. We shall be taking them to small claims court. They then repeatedly sent me invoices with personal details for others by mistake thinking I was the girl who works in accounts (apparently) and when we asked for our information (under the freedom of information act) we received a whole host of email including the MD calling my husband a 'd*ck' repeatedly, and one of the employees forwarding internally 'did we really try and charge £125 for a toaster?!'. UNBELIEVABLE. Oh and Huw Jones (the 5 star review) is the Managing Director... and presumably Mrs Jones is also connected.

Caesar at Shaws was absolutely fantastic. I would still be waiting to exchange on my flat if it weren't for Caesar going above and beyond to help move things forward. He was responsive, helpful and literally nothing was too much trouble for him. I can't thank him enough and would highly recommend Caesar and Shaws to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a property.

GoogleCompletely mis-sold the property - the details said detached with two beds and the house was semi detached with three beds. No attention to detail at all. Avoid.
Hi Susan, this is a strange review to receive. We marketed the property as a 2 bed because we feel the third room upstairs is more suited as an office, but the floorplan we have provided online clearly shows the sizes and layout for all potential tenants to see. Our marketing does clearly say it is a semi-detached house. Also the photos of the property show it as a semi-detached house, so I'm unsure where the confusion lies. Maybe you're unhappy we didn't agree to pay for the taxi for you to get to the property? It is most unfortunate the property wasn't right for you, but we do wish you all the best in the future.
