Appalling property management company

Appalling property management company. DO NOT BECOME A SAVILLS TENANT. I was their tenant for nearly six years. It started with a condemned open fireplace with a legal sticker on it which they removed. I discovered this later from the previous tenant. Then we had a loose paving stone we complained about at every review. They fixed it a few days after my 89 year old aunt fell when it tipped. They offered no compensation under their public liability insurance. We also had window panes that were practically falling out of their frames which they never fixed. On top of that, took them over 3 months to fix the heating during this past winter. Those are just the worst events. The other thing they are known for is retaining as much of your rental deposit as possible. The previous tenant at the property was charged £25 for each light bulb that wasn’t working. They took over 5 weeks to return my deposit. Their final excuse was they could only return my deposit to the account it had come from - from nearly 6 years ago!Other reviews speak of their property manager’s don’t care attitude. I feel it’s worse than that. I feel their property managers are dismissive, obstructive, and lack integrity when it comes to “duty of care” with tenants. You’ll ask why I didn’t move sooner? I was diagnosed with cancer during this time and couldn’t. And yes, I did inform them.

Most dishonest rental agent in Fulham

Most dishonest rental agent in Kensington and Chelsea team. I had an experience recently where the rental agent did not even put my offer through for over a week claiming she was waiting for me to be more specific or was chekcing on mice.When I terminated my relationship she accepted and I used a differnet agency. She then claimed there was another offer and pushed me to offer more to rent. Then another week passed, and the agent was still trying to claim commissions from the second agent who put my offer through to the landlord. Because of the dishonest tactics and constant lies, I lost many other opportunities and two weeks from my window to rent the best flats. Shockingly, after the agent was unable to squeeze more cash and commisions, she called me (insisting it had to be a call) claiming the flat has had “massive leaks and the landlord cant rent it.” The agency admitted they had never disclosed any leaks to me before. Buyer be ware!

We approached Mike and Francesca in December to register for rental properties and even in a market distorted by Covid, that was proving so challenging with very few properties that were suitable for us coming on to the market, by early January we had secured a great place with the space we needed and the location we wanted! Mike went over and above, his attention to our application was first class and we wouldn't have secured it without the critical line of communication he built up between us and the landlords and then latterly with the referencing team. This level of service has continued now that we have moved in, with any issues (and there are very few!) being attended to promptly. We would highly recommend Mike's and Savills service and can't thank them enough!
