Incredibly helpful management company; Louise has been particularly helpful and fast at responding to all my queries. I haven't had a concern go unanswered over the past two years! Renting with Regent has been very smooth and easy, many thanks to the team.

I spoke to Bailey several times with a recent rental property search. At all times he was efficient, courteous and helpful. I dealt with many agents during this search, Bailey’s communication style and tenacity stood out from the rest … thank you, it made a difference.

The most terrible letting agent ever.

The most terrible letting agent ever.My wife and I lived in a rental property "managed" by Regent for 2 years. Their maintenance team were worse than useless. After sending countless emails and phone calls about problems with the property there was zero action. We've now moved out of the property and have been waiting to get our deposit back for nearly two months. The person we're in contact with just simply ignores all contact. Do whatever you can to avoid working with these people.

From booking property viewing to signing the rent contract, Scott was very professional and key contributor. He was keen to provide information and clarify any requests I had. He dealt with any issue while finalising terms with a quick turnaround.

Beware of this agency. They do not return deposits and ignore messages for months. Getting my deposit back from this company has been incredibly frustrating. It’s been over two months, and I still haven’t received it. After vacating the property, they completely ignore my emails and show little interest in processing refunds. Even after all this time, I haven’t heard back from senior management. They seem far more focused on collecting money from tenants than on resolving refund issues. I highly recommend avoiding this company. It’s alarming that they handle deposit refunds while being unresponsive to inquiries.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. I put an offer in for a flat I really liked. It has been 11 days and they still not communicated anything. The excuse last I checked was that the landlord had not said anything. Surely you can call the landlord and ask for a decision since there are three offers already.Jade gave me her WhatsApp but would never reply and in the rare occasions that she did, none of my questions would be answered. When you call and chase they say they'll call you back but they never do. It's been such a frustrating experience and waste of time. After also reading how they never reply after you sign and have issues or give the deposit back imagine what a headache it would be to deal with them as a tenant.

Louise has been amazingly helpful since we started the tenancy. Her communication skills are excellent and she ensures that the process remains smooth and clear throughout. Thank you Louise.

One of their agents unlawfully entered…

One of their agents unlawfully entered our flat, despite a clearly agreed-upon time for access. When confronted, the agent claimed they were too busy to remember the arrangement. At the time, I was heavily pregnant and dealing with serious medical complications, and this unauthorized intrusion caused significant and unnecessary distress. This breach of trust and disregard for basic boundaries as well as tenancy law is unacceptable.

Retrieving your deposit from this company has been an extremely frustrating experience. It has been over two months, and I have yet to receive my deposit. Once you vacate the property, they completely ignore emails and show little concern for processing refunds. Even after two months, their senior management has not responded to my inquiries. They seem more interested in collecting money from tenants than in addressing refund issues. I would strongly advise against dealing with them. It's concerning that they control the deposit refund process, yet they don't even have the courtesy to respond to emails.

Just FYI - fine and professional company until you are trying to get your deposit back. They will try and deduct 30% of your deposit for the most obscene charges (they charged us £50 to remove a small radiator which we borrowed off the building because our heat didn’t work over the winter) they will then go ghost on you, currently 7 weeks without a reply from the agent, 3 months of them withholding £2500 deposit, they don’t bother to reply to emails, don’t bother to explain anything unless it suits them. So be warned, they’ll be all nice and professional until you move out then it’s screw over central.

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to Stella! She's been an absolute gem to work with. Super polite, lightning-fast replies, and oh-so-patient with all my questions. It's refreshing to deal with someone so friendly and helpful in the real estate world.

money hungry ghosts

When we moved out of our flat we were landed with a huge chunk of our deposit being deducted for the most obscure things i.e. £50 to remove a small electric radiator which we had to borrow from concierge because the heat didn’t bloody work all winter, £50 for cleaning dust from around sockets amongst other crazy things. After we disputed these charges we were then landed with even more charges before they just started to ignore us and our emails. The new tenants moved in (meaning they went ahead and did ‘work’ on the flat without us actually agreeing to a sum that they would deduct from the deposit). Continued to ignore us and almost 3 months after moving out there has been no communication from them and it has resulted in my raising a dispute via the deposit protection scheme which of course they have not responded to either. They will take pictures of every single corner of your flat and will charge you for just about everything, apparently wear and tear does not exist for them. It was a good experience moving in and throughout they were relatively responsive but as soon as they responsible for holding thousands of pounds they decided to go ghost. Terrible experience and i would not recommend unless you want to deal with sneaky and convincing agents who only want to make as much money from you as possible.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Regent Letting and Property Management. After finding a property via Rightmove and submitting an offer based on a video tour, we were shocked to discover that the actual condition of the property bore no resemblance to what was represented in the video and photos provided by Regent. Upon visiting the property in person, we found it to be in an extremely poor condition, with numerous issues such as heavily marked walls, unsightly stains on carpets despite alleged professional cleaning, a showerhead in poor condition with signs of water damage, unclean curtains, and other unresolved maintenance issues (see pictures attached). Regent's misrepresentation of the property's condition led us to sign a tenancy agreement under false pretenses. The stress and financial burden caused by this situation have been immense. Despite attempts to address these issues with Regent, they have failed to take responsibility or provide satisfactory resolutions. This experience has been deeply frustrating and has resulted in significant inconvenience and financial loss for me. We were forced to stay in and pay for temporary accommodation for more than 2 weeks and incur significant legal costs. Only following the threat of legal action in a letter sent by our lawyer, the agency agreed to release us from the tenancy agreement. Still, we were not compensated for any damages. Please stay away from Regent Letting and Property Management.

Boiler stopped working this morning. Tatiana went out of the way to help and sort the issue showing me what I could do to self serve. Thanks to her efficiency I have my heating on 1.5hrs after raising the issue on the issue management system

Poor service: be cautious

Regent was incredibly attentive and responsive when we were in the process of making an offer, but the moment they secured our payments, their communication practically vanished. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, we were met with unsatisfactory responses. For the price you're paying, it's certainly not worth it. Be sure to thoroughly inspect the property and insist on addressing all concerns in the contract upfront because once they have your payment, you and any issues that were present/arise will be ignored.

We’ve had a great experience renting a property through Regent. Everything was modern and efficient at every point of the renting process. I can’t thank Ben enough for his help and care at every stage from viewings to moving us in. He is a great asset to your business!

Terrible experience and no respect to customers’ time . Scott Borg organized a viewing via an agent assistant. I specifically asked him if my move out date is ok, he confirmed it on the phone. Only after the viewing , after I cancelled my meeting, wasted my time and money on taxi he said that my move in date wouldn’t be accepted by landlord. He just sent as many candidates as possible for the viewing without respecting their time and knowing that I had no chance since the beginning. No apologies followed.

The viewing was smooth and fast, however the person who was showing us the property didn’t know anything about it, even how to turn on electricity, we had to look at apartment in the dark. Because of that barely noticed black mold spots on the bath tub and absence of grout around one sink. All information was provided later via WhatsApp within hours. Response time could be faster especially when we are ready to sign contract.
