GoogleGood experience with Regent. The lettings negotiator Sam Nourse is very efficient. It only cost our about 1 week from our viewing the house to moving in. Sam was very timely to solve the problems we encountered during the signing of the contract, and even worked on weekends :)

GooglePoor communication and lack transparency. Seemingly prefer to string you along and send intentionally vague messages over giving you clear responses and closure (for better or worse). Am I just a KPI or do you not know how to manage a sales process/ prospective tenants expectations? Either way, it has resulted in me wasting a lot of time. To those involved, you have demonstrated all the qualities that people looking to rent fear when speaking with an agent - and will not serve you in your career.

GoogleThis review is specifically for Mrs. Allison Steele - Head of Sales. The sale of our apartment was prolonged for almost a year, due to Covid and due to apartment issues coming along the way. It has been a painful period where we, the sellers, almost gave up. If it wasn't for Mrs. Steele, we won't be able to come to a completion. She helped us in many ways, been reasonable with both parties, but most of all she kept us all on track. We have sold the apartment, and the completion have been very smooth. TrustpilotExtremely dishonest and tries to scam your deposit money
Such a dishonest company that tries to deduct your deposit and keep it themselves. They wanted to charge me £220 for marks on the wall (studio flat) that existed before I moved in (thankfully, I had photo proof). I bet they charged the previous tenant that same amount but didn't do anything to actually clean or rectify the markings and just kept it themselves. They also tried to charge me £30 for the tiniest enamel chip on a door (size of an ant), and £120 for professional cleaning when I already professionally cleaned the studio flat but they said there were "dust" and pieces of hair (photo showed ONE piece of hair in the sink).There were also SO many issues with the studio, such as malfunctioning washing machine, malfunctioning extractor fan which caused mildew, leaking toilets which took a year to completely sort out, AC / heating not working even though they were taking standing charges from me... etc. So many hidden charges and they will only ever come to you to ask you for money. Super dishonest - please make sure you check if it is Regent managing your property before renting.

GoogleReally poor costumer oriented. I rented a flat as a student. They ignored my messages for months. If you’re taking a contract, please be aware that they are going to take as much as reasons they could find to take a money from you, even if it was in a bad condition before.

GoogleOverall good rental agency. Relatively good response time for repairs although can sometimes be delayed as they need to check with the landlord who is overseas. James Lamizdin is very helpful when it comes to tenancy renewals, very prompt in his replies and understanding to the tenants needs helping to find a good solution.

GoogleBe ware to rent through this company. They never answer to emails or phone when you need something and when they do, they use patronising language. They always would take the Landlord side with 0 care to the tenant. They also forgot to give me notice that my rent was increasing and remember to let me know 8 months later. For pudding they tried to take most of my deposit on minor tear and wear. I was lucky that the deposit scheme judge took my side. Rent through them only if it is your last resort.
