A great bunch of people who know and care about the area, they have always provided a professional and helpfully service and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy in the area.

GoogleWe rented a property through Rayners for 9 years, and they are by far the best estate agents we've encountered in London. They were unfailingly helpful and reasonable, dealt with any issues efficiently and were a pleasure to communicate with. We will miss dealing with them and always highly recommend them whenever possible.

GoogleI've been a tenant in a Rayners managed property for about 2 and a half years. I've been really impressed by the friendly service we've always had from the team. It's been a complete breath of fresh air compared to living in a property managed by a large-chain estate agents. It's far easier, friendlier and more personal and the team have gone out of their way to make sure that we were happy with the house following any repairs or work that's been needed. They've made an effort to get to know us and to help us with anything we've needed during our tenancy. I would strongly recommend Rayners to landlords who want happy tenants!

GoogleThe flat itself had a problem with damp which I definitely don't think was the fault of the agents - and when we complained they were quick to send workmen round, and fair about what needed to be done. They replaced the kitchen as well when we asked. I found Alan particularly to be really easy-going, understanding, and helpful. They're the kind of small, human business that is much more pleasant to deal with than faceless corporations where you'll have six different agents you never meet dodging your questions on the phone. I'd go to them again.

GoogleI was looking for a flat at the beginning of 2015 and I found one advertised by Rayners. When we went to see it, we liked, but what we really liked was the professionalism and attention of David. They gave us the flat perfectly clean (also new carpet and painted) and since then until now the professionalism has been extraordinary. Every time we've need a plumber or to fix a couple of things, it doesn't matter how small or big was problem, It took literally hours to fix it. The prompt reply from Rayners has been always quick, professional and kind. I strongly recommend Rayners to everyone, tenants and landlords!

I sold my house through Rayners, they were absolutely fantastic, from the very beginning the advice from presenting my home to viewings, David Rayners' guidance was second to none, extremely knowledgeable, responding instantly to any concerns I had, they were polite and courteous, in doing this took all the stress out of the whole process. As a family run business, they certainly know their trade, take great pride in their work are very honest and extremely professional. If you are intending selling your property I have no doubt whatsoever in recommending Rayners Estate Agent they are a delight to deal with, made the selling of my property a very efficient, quick and straight forward procedure.

GoogleI was very happy that we chose Rayners when looking to rent a new house in Hackney. They made the application process easy for us, and since we've moved in they have very swiftly taken care of any arising issues with the house (which have all been relatively minor and handled with ease). You might find some agents that charge a lower agency fee, but you'll also find many that charge higher. That said, their attentive service hasn't yielded since we moved in, making me more than happy to recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the Hackney area.

GoogleI purchased my house through Rayners over 20 years ago and sold it through them recently. The level of service was as exceptional in the last few months as it had been 20 years ago. They were wise with their advice, strategic with their marketing and achieved more than I could have ever expected. Added to that, the level of communication was excellent and detailed, and everything was done with the utmost integrity. They embody the true meaning of excellent customer service!

GoogleThese guys are 100%. Honest, helpful, and straight-talking. And they go the extra mile, beyond the call of duty. I bought a house through them and they were never less than courteous and prompt to answer all queries. But they have also gone out of their way to provide further information on the neighbourhood, architects, builders etc. They are a credit to East London. I would be very confident about renting a property from them too. And since I note that there are some rather dubious anonymous troll-like comments on this site, anyone who wants further confirmation of my experience only has to contact me (andymartinink). But, in a nutshell, these guys know everything there is to know about the area and you will benefit from their wisdom. Plus they have a great sense of humour. You can't ask for more.

GoogleI have rented from Rayners for over eight years now, and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are ethical, professional, efficient, and as a bonus, also really nice guys - all qualities that are sadly very hard to find in other estate agents. During my tenancy, they were exactly what one would want - they left me alone for most of the time, but were always helpful when I needed them. When the flat I had lived in for years got sold, they were extremely helpful and made the (generally very stressful) process of finding a new home very easy and painless. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

GoogleMy partner and I have been managed tenants with Rayners for over three years, and have had a very positive experience. Alan and David have always been really relaxed, have sorted any minor issues with the flat quickly (e.g. getting some painting done a few years in). Moving in was stress free and without the silly costs that some agents can add on. We've now left but deposit returned quickly with no issues or grumbles, and their warm wishes. Would definitely recommend to other prospective tenants, and extend my warm wishes to the Rayners team for the future.
