Really poor experience. Complete lack of communication and was red buttoned a number of times when chasing up my offer on a property. They also turned up late to my initial viewing, wouldn’t answer the phone and told me details about the property that just weren’t true. After all this, they had the audacity to call me disrespectful when I asked to make a complaint. Steer clear.

We needed some work to be done in our rented house recently and our property manager Simona took the ownership of the issue and arranged everything very efficiently. She kept me informed throughout the work and arranged the handyman visits accordingly. The handyman was also very friendly and professional who completed the work to the required standards and left the area clean and tidy. Highly recommend

Just called Portico Ilford to find out about a property and the agent was so rude to even give information about the property. Either he was drunk or unaware about his job.

An awful experience as a tenant of a property managed by Portico, but also awful for the landlord as well who decided to leave them. Just constantly not sorting out issues for weeks on end to the point that our landlord just ended up doing it himself, but a hideous amount of paperwork for us all to do each year and they try to drain you of any penny possible. Terrible company.

Came home from work one evening to find out that Portico put a “sold” sign outside our house without our consent and having never interacted with the company. We’ve reached out twice via phone to ask them to come pick it up and we keep being dismissed. Reading the reviews I’m glad we bought from another agent.

Great EA, very professional and caring. Chris at Chigwell Portico, in particular who shows great professionalism so early being in a career. Unlike most agents they are not pushy and appreciate that selling chains break, and as a result selling and buying can take longer than usual. I would ignore any negative comments purely on the basis factual clarity would be lacking.
