GoogleDefrauding consumers: The apartment I rented was next to an elevator. When I was taken to see the house, I was not told that the elevator had abnormal noises, but after I moved in, I would hear the sound of the elevator every day when I slept. When asked, they simply replied to you that I didn't find any problems with this house before, without any apology. Fraudulent deposit and ignoring you when asking for help: Even though I emailed the agent that the toilet was leaking, when I checked out I was asked to deduct 2000 pounds from the deposit to cover the cost of repairing the toilet. All agent in the UK knows very well that it is a normal thing to ask the landlord to repair the house. Also, they did not provide any help to the tenant at the end of the contract when there is a dispute, instead they asked me to provide evidence like a prisoner. My personal suggestion: When looking for this agency to rent a house, you must keep screenshots of emails and contact TDS when you have any problems. Oh, by the way, they will also ask you for a cleaning fee of 225 pounds, but I didn't find that they cleaned it on the checkout report. A bunch of liars!

GoogleTerrible service. They are nice until you pay, and then they do not reply to any request. I have rented a flat for 10 months and have had no water in my shower for more than 9 months out of the 10 months. Not to mention that they will not hesitate to break into your flat without asking you if you agree, supposedly to repare something, and will leave your flat super dirty. Avoid them at all costs.

GoogleI found a flat through Portico (they didn't manage it). When visiting the flat they reassured me that the flat would be rented as-is, and that every piece of furniture would stay. When we moved in half of the furniture was gone, which was extremely inconvenient since we were moving to the country and relying on the flat to be fully furnished. Portico first refused to compensate me in any way, and then agreed to pay 250GBP, which of course didn't even come close to covering the missing furniture. I probably wouldn't have even received the inadequate compensation that I got if I didn't have a video recording of the visit, where the agent clearly states that all the furniture would be present.

GoogleTerrible, terrible terrible building manager and maintenance. Avoid this at all cost, sincere advice. The flat is broken, told us to put broken furnitures on portal yet nobody came to fix them after a month, the washing machine was broken and we have no where else to wash our clothes for a month already and still yet nobody came until this day. We have nowhere to call, the contacts details they gave us on official website doesn’t work. They also hide the contact details of the landlord purposefully and could be unlawfully on the contract. DONT COME TO THIS AGENCY!!! RUN AWAY!!
