Portico helped us to find a great property to rent, thanks to the letting agent Gabriel Nottingham. Gabriel is very professional and it was a pleasure to work with him. Mr Adam Green is very helpful and responsive. He is the first estate agent in London who I find very efficient and willing to help the tenants. I rented a flat from Protico in 2017. Later my flat was taken over by another property management company, but their service was awful. It took six months for them to fix the radiators in my room, which means I spent the whole winter that year without heating! They always lied to me saying that the plumber was coming so I waited for several half days in my room but no one showed up. I finally sent a legal notice to them and they repaired the radiators the next day! It is definitely frustrating to communicate with them. But when we moved away this month I dealt with Portico again, and Adam at Portico was very responsive, sorting out problems immediately. I was amazed by their service and wish I could have had Portico being the managing agency. I also find that the Portico office is open on Saturday! Salute to the hardworking people there.

Mr Adam Green is very helpful and responsive. He is the first estate agent in London who I find very efficient and willing to help the tenants. I rented a flat from Protico in 2017. Consistently rapid and clear communication during initial phase of tenancy. Chris was patient and friendly in explaining various details to us, which was greatly appreciated as we are students renting for the first time. There were some honest mistakes by both myself and Portico in handling various documents which necessitated extra visits to the office in person, but overall the process was straightforward and managed very professionally. Having inhabited the property for some weeks, the degree of communication from other team members is not as remarkable. After 3 weeks we haven't heard back about any of our minor repair requests or enquiries directed to the landlord through Portico. Besides some incorrect details advertised about the property, which are perhaps not Portico's fault, the initial phase of viewing, signing contracts, and moving in was perfectly acceptable. However, I have yet to be impressed by how Portico handle various dynamics and property issues throughout the year.

Moving house is not simple as you think! Especially for us who are not born in that country. My husband visited several real estate agencies and we were tired of the disregard and lack of respect with which we were often treated. Coming from another country, it is understandable that we do not know the procedure and laws of this country, but not all agencies are willing to help you. We decided to try one more time. We tell Portico real estate agency and there we had a pleasant surprise we met Shaun Cherian a lovely person who with a lot of patience showed us several properties teaching us all the necessary procedures to get the house. As I mentioned we are from another country and we do not know well the procedure and laws without mentioning that we still have difficulty considering that we have a limited inlges myself and my spouse. Plus the Portico staff was very helpful and attentive. So we have to thank everyone in particular Shaun Cherian recommend this company and honest and genuine

I recently purchased a property advertised by Portico, with the assistance of their Sales Manager Lucy Adamson. One thing that stood out most during the entire process was Lucy's honesty and integrity - it was like a breath of fresh air! I had been looking to buy for more than a year and throughout that time, Lucy proactively kept me informed about the new properties, progress of my offers and provided honest and frank feedback when my offers were unsuccessful. I was also impressed with Lucy's professionalism throughout the process. She not only suggested properties that were specific to my requirements and budget, but also organised viewings at a time convenient for my parents and myself, which sometimes meant that she had to stay late or come in early. I have also come to appreciate Lucy's frank and considered opinion and her focus on doing her best for the parties involved. In fact, before I made the offer on the property that I eventually ended up buying, she discussed at length with me my personal circumstances etc. so that my offer could be presented to the vendors in the best possible manner. In my view, her thinking and feedback in that respect was critical in the acceptance of my offer! When my offer was accepted, she was always a step ahead in informing me and coordinating with various parties so that everything progressed smoothly. Portico and Lucy also had a good network of support services such as financial advisors etc. In fact, when I had an issue regarding my mortgage, she suggested that I contact their financial advisors, who were then able to get a mortgage specific to my requirements. On the completion day, I received a bag of goodies and a bottle of prosecco from Portico to welcome me into my new flat. The bag also had leaflets of local services and other important information. This was a nice gesture on Portico's part! Lucy was also very kind and respectful towards my parents who were visiting from India. My parents still remember her and had sent a "thank you" present for her from India recently - I think that is a testament to her personality and affable nature! It would not be an understatement to say that had it not been for Lucy, I would not have been in my lovely flat!
