GoogleMAKE YOU CHASE YOUR DEPOSIT Myself and my flatmates moved out of our flat nearly 6 weeks ago now and still haven’t received our deposit even though it has been authorised several times by our landlord and we have sent multiple emails. It’s infuriating and extremely disruptive. I’ve rented multiple properties previously and I have never had to wait more than 10 days for the deposit to be returned to me. An absolute joke !!!

GooglePortico are very nice to you when you start your rental process but once they have secured your rental they offer the tenant a terrible service. They have made the whole move out process a complete nightmare. You get emailed from several different people about different things with 0 consistency on who you should be talking to. They will try and charge you for everything and often they won’t tell you about a charge until the last minute. The checkout inventory is designed to work in the landlords favour - charging us for paint splashes to plug sockets - why would we have redecorated a rental property?? Tenants beware of any property managed by portico Camden - I would give 0 stars if I couldNegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleAs a result of a flat view arrangement, the letting agent was joyful and empathetic. They were punctual and were able to provide essential information in a timely manner. If there is anything I would like to suggest is that they should better anticipate questions the viewer might ask such as inventory of the flat or utilities included if any. Although this didn't impact the visit quality as the information could be provided at a later time electronically, it would enhance the professionalism that they already demonstrated.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleTypical scammy lettings agent, trying to deduct things from the deposit when the place is in a well used condition. For example "scratches on kitchen work surface", when there are chunks taken out of the edges when we moved in. In fact there were chunks taken out of just about everything, nothing that made it unusable which is why we weren't concerned during our tenancy. You can't quibble about a small scuff when next to it there is a bloody great hole! Things like this also make proper cleaning impossible, ever tried cleaning a bit of wood with splintery holes in it? Yet cleaning repeatedly mentioned in check out of things that you can expect us to clean as they are porous and organic! Also scammed us on the check in/check out inventory charges, they claimed they paid for check in when actually was the previous tenant, (this was in past before new laws against this).
