After looking for a property across many different parts of London for 3 years, and coming into contact with approx 50 estate agents some of who didn't even bother to turn up to viewings or listen to what we wanted, then Petty Son & Prestwitch then came along. Petty Son stood out a mile from other agents across London and in the Wanstead area. They actually listened to us, spoke frankly about the local property market, and I genuinely felt they understood our position and had us in mind for all properties within our budget. Unlike other agents in the area there was no aggressive sales pitch for using Petty Son as middlemen for a mortgage etc. They used their time to focus on us and the seller. They always responded to our emails and phone calls promptly. I just wish we had found Petty Son earlier. The main people we dealt with across two of their offices were Fran, Elaine, Pam, and Fay. Thank you. My partner and I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your firm.

I've sold twice through Pettys in the last 18 months, and can confidently say they are the best in the locale by some margin both in their knowledge and customer service. There may be glitzier competitors, but they just cannot compete on service and experience. The archetypal "attitude" so often encountered is completely lacking at Pettys = they strike the perfect balance in their approach between enthusiasm and over-kill. I wouldn't even think of using anyone else in this area - it's not by accident that they have so much of the market.

Having experienced a 'challenging' house sale I would recommend PSP above all other agents to anyone in their catchment area.
They were professional at all times. When things went wrong with the sale they were sympathetic as well as pro active in seeking solutions.
We have previously engaged PSP with a rental property we had, as well as them finding us an urgent rental following a house fire, not easy when you have a german shepherd in tow!

They were professional and excellent throughout from the viewings and sale process at the front end of the transaction (Fay, Pam and Fran) to the way they handled matters post agreement up to exchange and completion (Elaine and John).
They were courteous, responded promptly to enquiries, and went the extra mile to achieve the desired outcome. We would strongly recommend and, from our experience, consider them to be head and shoulders as the best estate agents in Wanstead.

I want to extend my thanks to the team at Petty Son for a really great experience selling my house in Wanstead.
Their detailed marketing plan meant that we got great exposure, a record number of viewings which filled two open days, and numerous offers within weeks of it entering the market. The sale itself was handled with great skill and well exceeded my expectations.
At all times I was given advice which proved to be spot on. Having dealt with too many London estate agencies to mention over the past couple of years, I feel that the team at Petty Son offered me the most honest and straightforward advice. I wish there were more agencies like theirs out there, and will recommend highly them to friends and family.
