GoogleYou have always lied to me. I had seen the house on 09.01.2021 and then contacted you for renting process. You sent me the list of the required documents on 11.01.2021, and I prepared and sent those documents to you on 12.01.2021. After that, you haven't called me and haven't notified me about the process. I explained that my salary would not be enough and I have a guarantor, but you did not request the guarantor information during the 14 days. You did not reply to my emails. I called on the phone, and you said that the landlord was Covid positive and you tried to reach him. After 20 days, you told me that my salary was not enough and the landlord agreed with another real estate agent. I think you gave the house to someone else. So again you lied to me. Now you are apologizing by saying sent my money back. Of course, you have to send my back that you took for anything. Do not lower yourself by telling more lies.NegativeQuality

GoogleI wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone. I was interested in renting the property with them. They took all my details, promised to call me back and I've never heard from them. I think it's extremely unprofessional and discriminating.

GoogleAbsolutely awful experience. I had 2 viewings booked, both times the agent I believe to be named Kyp, "forgot" to send me the address of the property. When I got there the flat they had advertised on the website, was not the correct flat. Kyp openly admitted that they did not have photos for that particular flat so they put up photos of a completely different much nicer/bigger then the actual flat and he failed to tell me any of this. I will be taking this further as this cost me time and money I didn't really have.

GoogleAwful experience trying to rent a property through this agency. Agent on the phone was clearly not listening to anything I said, so I was constantly having to correct him. I had two viewings cancelled, one with very short notice (about 5 minutes) and agent was full of excuses (always the landlord and the current tenants fault, PM Estates are simply powerless) but no empathy. He was also incredibly pushy and abrupt. Would not recommend renting through this agency as their unprofessionalism will mean you miss out on good tenants.

GoogleIf anyone decides to rent a property using these agents, BEWARE! They DON'T ALWAYS lodge your deposit using the deposit safeguarding system but instead, give your deposit to unscrupulous landlord who, when you try to recover your deposit, you have problems. The excuse given for not safeguarding deposit was the wording in the agreement which is absolute rubbish. NB: ANY monies given over and above the rent on commencement of tenancy is a deposit. It doesn't matter how it's worded. Check the Housing Act 2004 section 213 for details. In fact, anyone renting property needs to familiarise themselves with the Housing Act 2004. Having problems; speak to your own solicitor or the legal team at Shelter for advice. If we could give them a minus that'd be too many stars!

GoogleFrom a landlords perspective I cannot fault these guys. I was looking for a good quality local agent that wouldn't cost the earth to either me or my tenants - having rang around most of the big local names I found these guys were the most competitive in terms of costs and fees to both myself and my tenants, and the experience of dealing with their staff and their director was second to none. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. I will use them for all my properties in the future without a doubt. I'm very glad to have found Peter Michael Estates!

GooglePeter Michael Estates became our letting agents halfway through our tenancy and from the outset they exhibited poor communication and a lack of diligence. They didn't inform us that they were our new letting agency and didn't transfer our deposit from the other agency. During the tenancy most contact we had with them was fine but they were slow to pick up repairs and didn't update their records regularly so an old tenant was used as the point of contact. Overall during our tenancy things were ok. The end of our tenancy is the reason I would never use this agency again. They seemed to think the deposit had nothing to do with them and were difficult, to the point of aggressive, when I tried get it back. It was a confusing process and they offered no help. Our old agency was great but Peter Michael Estates would not even send an email to tell them to release the deposit. I even spoke to the owner who told me it "wasn't his problem" and shouted at me. I told him it was his problem as we would take it up with his client - the Landlord - but he became even more aggressive and made it clear that he wouldn't help. I called him about ten times that day asking him to send one email but he wouldn't do it. Eventually another member of staff did it for me. A horrible experience and a great waste of time.
