Professional team and quick sale

David from the East Dulwich branch is the reason we chose to use Pedder. He was professional, gave more credible advice than other agents we’d spoken to and was not pushy. Catherine proceeded to manage the sale and was very efficient and communicative which made the process very easy. Pedder achieved a good sale price and got us a buyer in a very short period of time despite the challenging economic environment at the time. We would use them again.

Izabella was the agent for our purchase, and from start to finish she was friendly, professional, and responsive. I’ve received the worst service from this agency. I’ve contacted them to book a viewing for a property I was very interested in. I was assisted by Scott over the phone which managed to get me a viewing after a questionnaire I had to go through. After going through all the questions he finally booked a viewing for the following day. Normally when you book a viewing every agency will send you an email of confirmation with details and specific address of the property. I’ve never received the email. I called them back once and I asked Scott to repeat my email address in case he had the right one, his answer was “I already know the email, I will send it when I can”. I had to call them again to remind them to please send me a email with the address of the property. Scott failed to send me the email despite all my attempts of communication. I would never recommend this agency as they have really poor customer service and lack of etiquettes.

In these uncertain times, Pedder were most professional with their guidance and support. During the process of selling and renting property their well co-ordinated teams were all most knowledgable, each conscious of its current stage to promptly advise me. This was valuable as when inevitably some team members were out of the office, someone was present at all times to update me on progress. Their management was impeccable, again every necessary check and service being provided quickly. I found this most reassuring.

We recently exchanged contracts selling our flat through Pedder and found the team really efficient and helpful. We were selling and buying and the process ran generally smoothly. The team were always quick to respond to messages and queries and liaised with our buyers and solicitors regularly to keep things moving. We received an offer pretty quickly, so didn’t see a lot of what they do in marketing properties but we were happy with all the advice we received when putting the flat on the market. The only point for improvement we would raise, was they could have done more to help us find an onward property, as we didn’t get a lot of suggested properties from them when we were looking for our next place. But once we had an onward place sorted they were helpful with ensuring everything worked out for the chain.
