Avoid, Avoid buy new builds else where

Shame had to leave one star, picture this. You are charged a yearly figure, you do not pay this, your home is at risk for not paying, right?When you are a leaseholder and pay Peabody for your management pack, they say 30 working days (already weeks longer than L&Q, VIVID, Sanctuary, Gateway etc)After paying for pack on 4th of August ( yes over three months ago) under their own terms of 30 working days, this was due back around the 13th of September.Leaseholder raised complaint on the 14th of October and again on 30th of October, during these 30 days have had no response from so called area team leader Kerian.It has been a staggering 72 working days, 140% over the original suggested time scales, the only response you get at 140% delay is;“ we are currently waiting for information from our internal teams and will provide you pack asap” after it being over three months since payment it’s a deal breaker, chains do not wait this unnecessary amount of time.They take money, do not respond even once escalated. If it was the over way round they would be sending debt collectors to the flat.Buy else where and not VIA Peabody. CRM:0149412

Do not buy anything from Peabody

Do not buy anything from Peabody, we bought a new flat and since the beginning it has been riddled with issues.We have been dealing with leaks since we moved in 2 years ago, these leaks make the fire alarm go off and therefore the doors become unlocked, making the whole building insecure.Their latest "brilliant" idea? Chain the gates because they can't figure out how to fix the fire alarm; so now we don't know if there is a fire, and we can't escape the building from all the available exit.Save yourself lots of headaches (and probably your life) don't buy from them.

Peabody's tardiness causing buyer to pull out

This company has nearly caused the sale of our flat to fall through. The seller intends to pull out within the week if we don’t manage to acquire the paperwork and meanwhile Peabody has not sent a single response for our request for a management pack which we requested months ago!Our sale has taken us a year to conduct, and for it to fall through at the last minute because of Peabody’s disorganisation and unwillingness to engage is incredibly disappointing. Desperate for Peabody to engage with us to sort out our management pack before it's too late but it’s really seeming very futile.

The building of our blocks and flats…

The building of our blocks and flats are really amazing and work of art. The design, space, quality of materials and beauty. But some very minor jobs has remained unfinished by builders, however upon the request Catalyst is committed to fix them free of charge. For instance entrance doors to blocks are not fitted with damping mechanism, somewhere sealing is not applied or the doors are not properly adjusted and so on.

I couldn’t be more happy with my apartment. It was a long winding road to get here, delays owing to brexit and Covid (understandable) so I was a little frustrated at times.
