Impressed with community projects begun…

Impressed with community projects begun and supported by Catalyst. Part of the reason we chose the development, along with being one of the most affordable in the area. Had Stefan, Alastair, Ifti and Devorah help us throughout the buying process. Although this seems like many (!) we were always treated well, and everyone in the marketing office is very friendly, accommodating and informative. We only saw our actual house on completion, but were able to enter other twin properties to view and measure up when needed. Building finished pretty much on time and the legal buying process was completed efficiently. Repairmen have been quickly available and current construction workers are friendly around the area. We have friends down the road who moved into the same development a few months before us - their satisfaction confirmed our choice. I look forward to finding out about community projects around the area to get involved in through Catalyst.

Finally on the ladder

Went to view the flat at the end of June, got my keys to it at the end of September. The Catalyst representative made this home buying experience for me very smooth and quick. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and kept in regular contact with me throughout the buying process. I was dreading the paperwork involved in buying my first property but the rep gave easy instructions at each stage making it simple.

We can’t recommend catalyst homes enough, we have had a great experience with them from start to finish. We were given David Hawes as our point of call when we first registered our interest with a particular property and I have to say he’s been brilliant from start to finish.He dealt with our constant phone calls and emails very promptly and professionally, right up to completion he put us at ease at a particularly stressful time for us.We highly recommend anyone who is thinking of using catalyst!

Well... could've been better

All in all me and my family are happy to have finally moved into our new home, the whole process was complicated and time consuming as much as stressful and frustrating at times. Majority of the frustration came out from the lack of responses to various questions and issues by the sales team, not keeping on top of the paperwork and numerous requests for the paperwork already completed and submitted as "it has been misplaced", or me having to chase for the forms that should've been filled out at the beginning of the whole process, numerous voicemails and emails unanswered with a cherry on the cake when I've called the office and the lady who answered told me she is not the person that I'm trying to reach and put the phone down without any other explanation, naturally I phone back to here the voicemail introduction of the person all the way to the completion day where it turned out that 2 major appliences are not working (Fridge and the cooker) and the sales chap suggested for me to call the aftercare team and quickly disappeared leaving my partner my 8 month old daughter and myself to sort out an absolute basic in a new build home... not grate, we couldn't really stress about it then as it was the very first time we got to see our home, and the excitement from it overshadowed the irritation due to the fridge freezer and cooker situation... and yes, you're reading correctly, we were never given the chance to view our house before we had moved in.So I'm afraid I don't have much good to say about Steve and his sales team due to those reasons above altho he is a nice enough guy, however the person who I would like to reckognise is Silvana Conroy who was the only person who sorted things out promptly, professionally and with grate manners so Thank You very much Silvana for your help !Also Dan from the aftercare team, as well as the developer representatives who assisted us and sorted the fridge and the cooker issues as well as picked on few others LOL! So thumbs up for Silvana and Aftercare Team !

Appalling Customer Service

Afetr some time on hold, I purchased extra door entry fobs from customer services on 25/3/21 and money was taken from my account the same day. I was told they would be dispatched after 2-day, so was expecting them around a week after ordering. Still not received by 7/04/21 when I emailed customer services to check on the staus of my order. No response received. Emailed again today 15/4/21 to ask for an update.

Do NOT trust Catalyst under any circumstance. All the information the give you will be false. They lure you in and then will raise your service charge by over 35 percent yearly!! You will not be able to afford to pay your rent/SC soon but will be stuck if you buy from them. It will be impossible to resell your place because the charges will be astronomical!!
