Open rent is amazing - cost effective, efficient and excellent communications. My only issue is that it takes too long (several hours) for notifications of potential interest to come through by email. Great for marketing and the tenant referencing was extraordinarily fast and thorough. I love it!

From a landlord's perspective, OpenRent has been a fantastic service:- detailed support documentation written in simple, easy steps- friendly, knowledgeable, and speedy support from the OpenRent team that has always helped me solve my issue.- a really customisable and transparent set of services for the Landlord to choose from, meaning you can select to use OpenRent as much or as little as you'd like to (viewings support if required, light or detailed tenant reference checks, inventory if required, check in if needed etc)- easy renewals or changes to tenancies- good prices.Only downside was the contractor OpenRent engaged to complete my EICR check. They failed my flat and detailed huge amounts of work, but when I found myself another independent electrician to redo the EICR, the works recommended were actually a third of the price - most of the other work was deemed unnecessary. Recommend OpenRent keep a closer eye on advisories by contractors.

Absolutely a great service and excellent value for money. The simple to use system for tracking enquiries and booking viewings is perfect, had 16 enquiries within the first two weeks. The ability to vet your prospective tenants is good also in ensuring you get the right profile of an individual for your property. I have used OpenRent as a Landlord for several years. It is the simplest most cost effective method of getting to a large audience. I have been successful every time I have used it and the additional services they offer for referencing are cost effective and quick too. Why pay an Estate Agent when you can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost and actually meet your potential tenants too at a time to suit them not when an Estate Agent will arrange a viewing. If you haven't tried it, then definitely worth doing, you won't regret it.

Really simple easy to use process - Had loads of enquiries from OpenRent directly the few times we've used them, always had properties let within a few days and the tenants almost always come from OpenRent as a pose to other places we list.Add-ons competitively priced too so wouldn't hesitate to use them if needed fir EPC's and stuff.These guys deffo make the headache of letting a property much easier

The system is easy to use and efficient. I placed an advert via OpenRent and have been inundated with messages from prospective tenants. I have managed to agree the let within 1 week of the property being advertised. The OpenRent team provide useful information via email to ensure things are progressed. I used the reference check facility which was efficient and I had a response back within two days. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.

Such a good idea, well executed. Intuitive, helpful site and quick responses to any questions. So much better than high street agents at a fraction of the cost. Really like being able to decide which elements I want and don’t want and pay accordingly. Love it!

With the recent turmoil in the rental market, reducing costs has never been more critical. I used OpenRent for the first time to remove paying an Agent. The service is brilliant, exactly what I needed, they created a new tenancy and collect rent for me too. The website is well thought out and intuitive, and the process was very smooth. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The platform has been well thought out and is easy to use. Listing a property was seamless. When my partner enquired about the property on rightmove to see if it was working I didn’t get any notifications or enquiries which was a tad disappointing but otherwise very good. Hopefully full “Rent Now” functionality comes to Scotland soon.

Have used open rent before several time and again now also will in future without doubt. I have always managed to find Tenants via Open Rent.I have every time found advertising with open rent with many enquiries by tenants.open Rent also would be useful for amateur Landlords as these new landlords otherwise could make mistakes and could cost them much later.I would highly recommend open rent to anyone because low costs and the help available if required.

Fist time as a Landlord and used OR instead of using a traditional letting Agency. The reason is firstly the very high fees that they charge which start from £500 and depending the services can be 10-20% of your rent income which is ridiculous.And secondly i did the f2f viewings so i had a clear picture of all potential tenants I used the Rent Now button feature, paid £49 plus a couple of references of £20 each and job done.I received a lot of enquiries through Zoopla, Rightmove and OR site and in 5 days everything was sortedI am very happy of the outcome and i will definitely use OR again on my next property.From my experience and as new landlord i highly recommend OR

Have 3 properties managed by estate agents. Not a good experience in general- for this flat kept hesitating for months - did not want to use the agentsFinally got courage and put this on open rent- got multiple viewings and property let within the week. All those fence sitters this is the ‘Easiest’ experience ever - it’s simple easy and no strings attached.Further you are protected as viewing requests come through the openrent platform Better and cheaper than Purple Bricks too

Open rent made my first contract transition so smooth,I would recommend open rent anytime anyday.It made life easy because it gave me access to the landlord directly which enabled me share other proof of my eligibility for my apartment.
