Reasonably priced and very straightforward to use, while including reasonable checks to keep things honest. We have used this platform 4 times now to find tenants.Each time we’ve had a clear view of the potential tenants and have been able to ask questions and carry out credit checking etc. in a very straightforward and transparent manner.We also use the rent collection service, which is very efficient and allows us to keep a track of payments received.Overall a very good platform that does what it promises at a reasonable price

Have been using them for a few years. They are absolutely the best if you are a hands on landlord. They provide all the tools so the process of marketing, viewing, negotiation and tenancy signing is very smooth. And website and the app are well designed and easy to use. This morning I had an issue totally due to my oversight and I emailed them for help. Matthew responded within a few minutes and sorted it out. All for a tiny fraction of the cost charged by the high street estate agent. Highly recommended.

Excellent level of service in terms of number of viewings, communication between the viewers and landlord via the website, easy to compile and speed of getting out the advertisement. One tiny gripe, and its a personal one, is that I used to read the latest text from the bottom of the page, and Openrent's messaging, unlike most SMSs, is from the top. It took me a while to get use to. Unfortunately this time I found the new tenants from other sources, but I would recommend Openrent and their add-on services and will use them again.

I was very sceptical when I signed up to use OpenRent because the costs involved left other rental agencies standing. The process was trouble free from start to finish. The helpful guides, reminders, prompts and signposting made for a smooth journey. As a new landlord I had no experience but the prompt responses from queries I raised made it so very simple. What started off as a bad review has finished off a good story, though it took OpenRent 5 working days to resolve. They were let down by an unprofessional engineer but they stepped in to refund my money and provided engineer details which I've used to make a complaint with Gas Safe. OpenRentbmust act decisively and remove this engineer from their network. He has no respect for customers and no respect for his profession.

I've been renting out property for over thirty years and have used Openrent for the last five years. I find the service extremely easy to use and all my tenants have been fantastic. I like the fact that they do the referencing, inventory, key handover, EICR and Gas Safety checks, which makes it very much easier for Landlords. I have also found every tenant within 8 days. My only criticism is that it is very difficult to get through to anyone on the phone. However, would definitely recommend.

OpenRent has been very helpful throughout my tenancy period. Their app is amazing. It contain all you need, to rent the property out. User friendly and flexible! It relievethe stress and the overcharge of a local estate agency. This online agency, is very good value for money to the landlord and the tenant. Everything gets processed very fast and you are supported through their online system in every single step of the tenancy process. You even get reminder, if needed. Also, every transactions or email with the tenant is all recorded into their app. Therefore, for peace of mind, it is always better to follow their recommendations and everything will navigate smoothly. As a landlord, I had always used an agent but was disappointed with how things played out with a previous tenancy. The agency were charging me a lot for maintenance work and were also failing in keeping up comms with the tenant. I decided to use OpenRent for a new tenancy. I will never go back. The portal is amazing, makes advertising and setting up the tenancy really easy. I have not used other services, e.g. EPC, gas cert etc, so can’t comment on those. I think my tenants have had a better experience dealing with me direct and we have worked together on resolving issues at the property - my agent were slow to inspect and resisted the tenant raising issues, I’d rather know about problems early and get them sorted. If you have the time to do it, I recommend using OpemRent rather than an agent.

This was the first time I'd used open rent. It was a fantastic service. My advert was lve fir less that 24 hours before I had to suspend it due to an overwhelming response rate. It was easy to manage enquiries and I liked the fact that all correspondence was through the website until you'd booked a viewing. No constant phone calls and no risk of continued calls from unsuccessful applicants.Pre screening option was very useful for getting a feel for potential tenants prior to contact.Tenant checking service was fast and efficient and very reasonably priced.I'll definitely use this site again.
