Unable to put NO STARS - Appalling and disrespectful to Students!

I have just received a phone call from my daughter, a 4th-year medical student and tenant of Oliver’s Town, in Kentish Town. She was shaking, almost in tears and needed to speak to someone. As a student, she felt intimidated, vulnerable and bullied by the agent, Stephen. He was belligerent and threatening, for no reason. He rang the doorbell and waited no more than 2 minutes before entering her home, with his keys. Among other things, he laughed in her face as she tried to accommodate him showing Surveyors and potential buyers around. I tried to speak to him, via her phone, to let him know that making a student feel intimidated, in her home, is serious and unacceptable, he failed to address my issues and proceeded to record my conversation???? Her whole experience at their hands has been one of distress and apprehension; she went 6 weeks with no HOT water, without urgency for resolution from them. I wish I had more time to get information from her, of all the disturbing incidents she and her flatmates have experienced, in less than a year; however, she is in the middle of studies and already put out by the emails and unnecessary disruptions she has to deal with, due to their disrespect and rudeness towards students.

appalling with tenants, they highjacked our deposit.

We were tenants for one year and had Olivers Town as our property managers. They were absolutely appalling. They never answered emails or returned any phone calls regarding needed repairs, and completely ignored anything that we submitted through their repair portal, Fixflo. Any time anything was needed from them it was an absolute nightmare to even get them to pick up the phone or answer an email. When we gave notice, they never acknowledged it and left us hanging for three weeks, until we finally were able to locate the landlord's contact information and contacted them directly. We have now moved out, over a month ago, and they still have not returned our deposit, despite many calls and emails, and their own admission that there was nothing to deduct from it. I suspect that we won't get anything back until we file a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. Truly shameful, avoid at all costs.

We have been in the process of selling our flat through Oliver’s Town. Two basic skills I would expect from an estate agency - good communication and being proactive. Unfortunately not skills I can associate with OT’s approach to this profession. From the start we had doubts. From a poorly worded descriptive write up on Rightmove, no follow up/us having to chase on feedback from every viewing and extremely poor communication. This continued throughout the entire process. Once an offer was accepted my wife and I had to constantly chase for every little thing. I waited weeks to receive responses to emails (if I ever got a response) and a complaint that I raised to both our contact and the owner was completely ignored. At one point our contact at OT went on holiday without a proper handover to a colleague and without telling us. Our buyer has now pulled out of the process (after informing us directly) and so far we have received no communication from the agent or follow up plan, which I would expect within the next 24 hours, considering we are also in the process of buying. The complete lack of interest in progressing our sale has been quite astounding. I don’t know how this estate agency is still in business as selling property doesn’t appear to be their forté. Avoid at all costs.

I wouldn't recommend Olivers Town to anybody. The staff are unresponsive or unhelpful in emails. We received a no fault eviction order during our tenancy which the staff at Olivers Town handled with a complete lack of sensitivity and support. They did not fix exposed glass from a broken window in our flat for over a month which was a safety concern and increased risk of break in. After ending our tenancy, we waited several weeks to receive our deposit after the landlord agreed to return it to us.
