We are also (thank God) former renters who have had to wait to post this because we were intimidated by the antics of the so called team that manage properties here. Repairs issues were very serious in our case - water leaks so bad one bedroom was unusable and with black mould over ceiling and wall .Told this was condensation and to open the window in the freezing weather as if it was a kitchen. Then to wash with a very strong bleach chemical. Bathroom had same issues. No one ever checked where the leaks came from and we presume when we moved out they just washed down and redecorated for the next mugs.

GoogleWe bought the house through Olivers a quarter of a century ago when the details were still typed on A4 with grainy black and white photos. The marketing techniques have changed but the service and local knowledge remain the same. We were particularly appreciative that Olivers helped organise and manage some building work on the house in readiness for sale. They went to a enormous trouble that I couldn't see another agent offering, reflecting that they regard themselves as a local institution as much as simply an estate agent. Fighting back against the cliché about estate agents, they are also just a really likeable bunch. So big thanks to Daniel, Joe, Charlie, Phil and of course Costa who oversaw the work to the house. GoogleI rent a victorian property in Kentish Town from Oliver's Town. Being a nearly 200 years old building, it has had its issues every now and then. Oliver's town is always there to respond quickly and get professionals out to fix every urgent issue we've had. I hear a lot of horror stories about landlords and agencies in London simply not responding to issues but so far Oliver's town is far from that and we've had a great experience so far. Costa is always quick to come over right when issues are reported and document the situation before dispatching the experts as needed.

GoogleEverything that you could want from a letting agent. We dealt with Alfonso who was there during the flat viewing, he was very knowledgable and lovely to chat with. Towards our move date, Alfonso was in communication to let us know that a lot of the furniture was going to be replaced because it wasn’t up to standard (even though it was in relatively good condition!). He managed to do this incredibly quickly and from not having certain items on Friday they were all present on Monday when we moved, the walls had also been freshly painted. He really has been a delight to liaise with and we were very impressed with the cleanliness and standards of the flat when we moved. The property has clearly been well looked after and is well managed. We also were contacted by the letting agent manager/owner who wanted to check in, which we really appreciated.

Josh Abudu has been amazing throughout. From the first viewing to key handover he's been contactable at any time, and has always gone out of his way to ensure the whole process was a smooth as possible.
He even revisited the property after the let as agreed to take measurements of corridors and doors to allow us to order furniture before moving. He also met us at the property on move in day instead of asking us to come to their office in order to save us some time.

GoogleWe recently bought our first home throughout Oliver’s Town. We largely dealt with Charlie who was fantastic! At the viewing he was professional, knowledgeable, charming and is clearly good at sales. Throughout the process he went above and beyond for us, including services such as showing my parents around the flat after our offer was accepted, and he always communicated between us and the seller quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend Charlie in future.
However, one thing we would like to note, is that during the buying process we had an interaction with one of Charlie’s senior colleagues, who handled the negotiation quite unprofessionally, by weighing in their opinion on our offer before it was put to the offer to the seller to decide. We were quite unhappy about this, as we felt it wasn’t their place to comment, and if it wasn’t for that this would be a five star review!
