I have & will continue to shout from the rooftops how positive my experience with Oliver's Town has been! Rodney was a godsend in helping me secure housing during the London rental crisis, Gopika was incredibly & responded to emails at lightning speed, & Bryony was a great point of contact when others were out of office. I've been sending all of my friends to Rodney & the team. Rodney is the only letting agent in London who seemed to take a genuine interest & cared about helping me find a great place to live. Thank you for helping me find a dreamy place in my budget & in the perfect area (if anyone can do it, it's Rodney & the team)!

Where to start? From day one Rodney was professional , friendly, honest, upfront, reliable and easily contactable which is just what I needed on my flat hunt! Renting with Olivers Town Estate Agents was truly the best experience in real estate and lettings in London. My greatest gratitude goes to the whole team but especially Rodney! Olivers Town Estate Agents have been a godsend to our property purchase experience. After we were sitting in a chain and our previous purchase fell through, Stephen at the estate agency quickly swooped in to save the day as he kindly showed us a property in Kentish Town last minute which ended up being our dream home. We had a tight timeline (8 weeks), but thanks to Stephen and the lovely sellers, we managed to be ready for exchange within six weeks which is incredibly fast! We can't thank Stephen and the wonderful sellers enough for their time and effort into making this sale possible!

Efficient, empathetic, professional agent

Rodney has been quick and efficient, and brought our months-long search for a 2 bed rental to a close, this week. We couldn't be happier and can't wait to move into our new place. Having had lengthy conversations with our new landlady also, she feels strongly that Rodney always brings her great prospective tenants when she needs them, and she reflected back to us our own experience of him as a candid, efficient and professional agent. Beware and avoid at all costs, especially if you are a woman renting alone. The owner himself started sending inappropriate text messages to me and then I had a couple instances of unauthorized/ illegal entry. I would come home to my belongings moved/toilet seat up, etc. It was distressing. I ended up doing a sweep for cameras and had to buy a security camera for my own home before finally moving away. I did not feel safe renting from Oliver’s Town. I still have all the original messages if they have the audacity to deny this.

Landlords beware

We have had a saga as first time landlords that has proved very, very costly for us long after we sacked this agency. We had a property for which we needed a managing agency to quickly find suitable tenants with references, credit checks etc as we weren't in London and didn't feel we could do this ourselves long distance and had never been landlords. We wanted good tenants who would hopefully stay a while.

As two international students still looking for a house late into the annual house-hunting season, Rachel and I were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and professionalism provided by Olivers’ Town. Throughout our experience, Alhad and Viktoria were quick to respond and unfailingly polite. Alhad especially was a delight to talk to, and a big help in our search - he was quick to arrange a viewing for a house that suited our requirements and more than that, took the initiative in advising us about making an offer and the procedures that would follow. When our first offer was rejected, he was understanding and swift to advise us on another suitable property, even personally calling the landlady on our behalf almost immediately. He also helped us to keep our offer reasonable (we were pretty anxious to settle our accommodation quickly) and further went beyond expectations, checking in with us about our familiarity with the area and staying back at the office to hand over the keys, as we could only arrive past office hours. Viktoria too was an excellent help in settling the legal matters of our tenancy, working with both the landlady and ourselves to change certain clauses where reasonable and sorting out the financials and admin promptly. Compared to all the previous housing agents I have communicated with previously, Alhad and Viktoria are among the few decent ones, and perhaps some of the best in my experience. I’d definitely trust them if I were to search for another property to rent in this area again in the future.

In particular, Viktoria has been very responsive, promptly answering my many questions and providing me with a lot of useful information. She's been very timely with her responses and also very accommodating in helping me arrange my move (as I'm on my own). I’m addition, Rodney was very accommodating in helping me start the process even whilst I was abroad. Upon my arrival, he took me to view the flat and answered all my questions. Overall, it's been a great experience.
