GoogleI sold my one bedroom flat through Oakwood (after previously purchasing it through them, seven years previously. Once again, I found the service offered to be of very high quality. The pictures they took of the flat were really good and showed the flat off to its maximum potential. They secured lots of viewings within the first week of marketing and it was under offer just days later. From that point, Oakwood managed the sale of the property really well; including overcoming a few small hurdles/issues as the sale progressed. GoogleWe rented out our flat through Oakwood and then sold it through them as well. Honestly, for both rental management and sales they were really everything I could hope for. Whenever there was a problem with tenants, Clare sorted it really fast, and I never felt overcharged when they arranged repairs and servicings on our behalf. Then when it came to the sale, Jay offered good advice throughout, helping us negotiate a better deal at the start and then resolving some last minute issues to get everything over the line. GoogleEasy and efficient process with Jay and Lewis at Oakwoods. Competitive pricing and able to get the photos and property listed in the short timeframe we needed. Also very helpful with chasing up solicitors and keeping the sale moving. Generally very helpful and flexible about holding the keys as we'd moved away, which allowed access for surveys etc. Would recommend.

GoogleThe process of taking your home from somewhere you live to "tenant ready" is a stressful one but Oakwood did a fantastic job taking a lot of the hassle away. The tradesmen they use are professional and do a very good job and the communication and speed of action from Beck in particular is top notch. I was concerned about finding tenants in the current environment but Ella did a super job with viewings and finding great tenants for my house. Highly recommend Oakwood as an agency of choice for rentals based on experience

GoogleI bought my flat with Oakwood and also sold it a couple years later with them as well. Very lovely and helpful team. I really liked their vibe, especially compared to some of the more corporate and salesy estate agents. I was happy with the strategy and pricing they suggested to sell the flat and we ended up getting quite a bit over asking which was great.

They have a great understanding of the local market and they really listened to what we wanted and advised, rather than trying to overload us with waffle. In fact, we weren’t going to look at the flat we now call home after seeing it online, until Jay said he really wanted us to see it - he drove us here and we were sold. Literally. GoogleAmong all the estate agents which work in Stoke Newington, I chose Oakwood because it is a small, independent agent which had been working in this part of London for many years. I was extremely pleased with that choice: Andy, Dan and the Oakwood team were friendly, straightforward, professional, responsive and very helpful throughout the process of selling my flat, and skilled at mediating between all parties involved. It was helpful to know I could trust the team throughout what is always a stressful process. I definitely recommend Oakwood!

GoogleI recommend Oakwood as the go-to estate agent if you're selling or buying in and around Stoke Newington - Jay provided excellent advice and support throughout the whole sales process. This sale was a complex one, and Jay's experience was invaluable, as were his excellent communication skills and proactive approach. He provided clear information from start to finish. GoogleWe have just completed the sale of our flat through Oakwood and could not have been happier with their service. Prior to listing our property with Oakwood we had it with a different agent in the area and changed agents given we were not happy with how unresponsive and proactive that agent had been. Andy and Andrew at Oakwood were brilliant, always providing weekly updates and responding to any queries. They were honest and realistic in their pricing recommendations and feedback. I would highly recommend them.
