When looking to get a flat in London I was recommended Newington Estates by a colleague, when dealing with Newington I had nothing but great treatment from my agent Matthew who stayed longer than he had to just to make sure I was content and happy with the flat even showing me local transportation and food spots. GoogleWorst real estate agent ever!!! Awful flats with the most expensive price!!! At the very moment you paid the rent, you are doomed. Nobody cares about you. No service at all. they will take all of your deposit with ridiculous reasons. If any of you happened to rent their properties, all I can say is good luck.

GoogleAlthough I do not use Newington estates as Agents for my property the owner of the flat above mine does. When a water leak from the flat above caused damaged to my property an agent from Newingtons, Mr Max Shanteer, responded very quickly to the incident. The day after the event he arranged for a builder/decorators to repair and make good the damage. I was very impressed by the prompt action and professional manner in which the matter was handled by Max.

I've been a landlord for 11 years and used Newington in between for over 3 years before switching agents, my view, they are not that bad compared to many that I've tried but I wasn't satisfied with them either for many reasons before I switched over 2 years ago. I bumped into some negative comments about them online by chance just yesterday but their reply to the comment made me curious because the main issue on the review/comment was not addressed but only responded to a part of an inventory service issue that the client complained about. If there's one thing I gained while I was with Newington, it is the inventory company called favour, those guys are the ones still doing inventories for all my properties till today. Out of curiosity, I chatted with one of the inventory team this morning to be sure is not them being referred to, but contrary to what you portrayed in your reply to the online reviews a couple of days ago, your company still owes the inventory company payment for 25 properties inventory reports completed and have sent to you, and now they've taken you to small claim court for it. Common guys, you can do better.
