Excellent service, especially James Fownes

I'm very pleased with the help and support provided by James Fownes. He was very willing to help at each stage of the process - from helping me identify the right location in London to selecting the right flat from all the off plan options and making the offer. Once the offer was accepted James was always willing to help with any queries and deal with an issues coming up from the lender and valuers in all timely manner. An agent is only as good as when they deal with problems. Every agent can be pleasant and polite. But when it comes to dealing with maintenance or landlord/tenant issues, many agents become difficult, slow and unresponsive. Troy at MyLondonHome is an example of a property manager in an agent who deals with issues head on and gets to the bottom of them quickly and efficiently. That's great, but what sets Troy apart is the way in which he does it. Calm, professional and treating all parties with respect (including the tenants). Troy is highly skilled on the phone and exceptionally organised (polite calls and chasing where required until the issue is resolved). Having dealt with many property managers, I could safely say that Troy is probably one of the best, if not THE best I have encountered. Thank you Troy and MyLondonHome

Excellent service from James Fownes and Michael McFarlane at My London Home

I have successfully exchanged contracts on an assignment of an off-plan property advertised by My London Home. My London Home, and in particular James Fownes and Michael McFarlane made significant concessions in order to get me a good deal on the purchase, and both James and Michael have gone out of their way to see it through to exchange. The deal has necessitated an unusually large amount of work on both their parts due to various factors. For a certain period I was conversing with James and Michael on a daily basis (they were available morning to evening and on weekends too) and they were friendly, professional and on the whole a delight to deal with. Highly recommended.

You are in very good hands with agent Amit Patel from My London Home

Whether you are a Landlord or a tenant, I can guarantee from my experience that you will receive the best service from My London Home and particularly from agent Amit Patel.I found myself bogged down in a very complicated situation with bad references from a previous Landlord due to rent arrears in regards to a harassment case. Amit Patel dealt with this difficult issue step by step trying to understand the reasons behind all this. I instantly felt that I was in good hands. Amit Patel took the reasonable time to address the case making all the necessary investigations. I never felt uncomfortable during the whole process and was kept informed at all stages. I can't fault the service I have received (as a tenant) from MyLondonHome, despite assuming the worst having had bumpy experiences with other property managers in the past. Very happy with the service

Professional and dedicated service

We were fortunate enough to get a viewing for an apartment opposite Westminster with Amit. We immediately knew that it was the place for us and once we made this known to Amit he went above and beyond in helping us secure the property. He was great in finalising the arrangements and admin to ensure our offer was accepted and our move in was completed smoothly even though we had some issues along the way which included delayed move out date from previous property & expired passport from one of my housemates. Amit was able to work around these issues to ensure nothing was compromised with regards to us getting the property. He was honest and up front through out and worked around our commitments staying late on numerous occasions to allow us to go in to sign documents etc. would definitely recommend My London Home and Amit in the future.

Brilliant friendly service, Would always use them...

I had a very particular tick list of what i was looking for in London and My London Home and in particular Danny Greenland worked tirelessly in trying to help me, one of the reasons i went back to them when my intended purchase stalled.Always followed up, touched base,and constantly updated me with properties as soon as they came up, it was very close but unfortunately for Danny but fortunately for me my original purchase that ticked all boxes came through. Awful Service - post-signing the tenancy contract.

The problems with MyLondonHome began post-signing the holding contract. We were first informed that the previous tenant was not moving out of the apartment and was being ' difficult' less than three days before my move in date. We were given very short notice that she was now leaving on Saturday two days before my move in - which gave me undue stress and tension. When I moved in the apartment was dirty and had a lot of maintenance issues. I was promised a professional clean - however it was nowhere near a satisfactory clean. In terms of the cleaning - it had been done very poorly. There were stain marks on the kitchen worktops, the filters of the dishwasher are clogged, the fridge has a strong odor, the rug was not vacuumed, there are stains on the sofa side, the radiatior tops have dust and debris on them, there is limescale in the bathroom, the washbasin and tap are dirty and the previous tenants hair was in the washing machine. The apartment also had a lot of maintenance issues as well (which are mostly the fault of the previous tenant). Some of these included a broken cupboard in the kitchen, the kitchen handle is broken, numerous lights are not working, the oven hob is scuffed, the washbasin plug is broken, the toilet seat is covered in deep scratches and cracks, the bedroom blind is broken and the dresser drawer is broken and was poorly 'fixed' via tapeThis was when the problems really began. I tried to get in touch with Laila (the lady who was present when I signed the rental agreement) and was effectively ignored (especially when she had been so responsive prior to signing the tenancy). The agent that showed us the property, Zeeshan, had promised us that the apartment would be spotless and that the grouting would be completed and that someone would contact us on Monday regarding it. I called him on Monday to get the number and details of the property manager and he said that he would call me back. He never did. I finally found the details of their call center online and managed to get in touch with the property manager Troy. After speaking with him, he told me that the maintenance team would get in touch once they received the inventory report and the grouting would actually take several weeks to complete. I have emailed and called to follow up but have not received any response. One week after move in - the apartment still is not grouted and has all of the maintenance issue with no further update of when these issues will be resolved.

Amit is an exceptional agent, very personable and professional. He is well turned out with a pleasant demeanour that inspires confidence. Amit is willing to go out of his way to accommodate requests and asks the right questions that come from years of experience designed to understand clients’ needs and make customised recommendations unlike the typical commercial orientation that has become the downfall of letting agencies reputations. MyLondonHome was our agent of choice three years ago when we let through them at Westminster Square with Oliver Fairhurst, another exceptional agent, who since left the organisation to found his own property development company. In the intervening years, we felt that MyLondonHome fell into the trap of many larger commercial agencies that hire inexperienced talent with a short term orientation and consequently let our second property through another agent instead of renewing our contract or looking for a new property through MyLondonHome.
