GoogleEverybody at the agency was really friendly, helpful and professional. My family mainly dealt with Lino, and he always solved all our requests in an impressively efficient manner, and made an otherwise difficult process easy and enjoyable. I have tried more agencies in the area, and this was by far the best. I intend on using it again, and would whole-heartedly recommend it to everybody else.

GoogleTeam are fab, who will go the extra mile to help. I got the keys and couldn’t reach the switch to turn on the fridge. The property manager Dannie happily came over to help, which hugely took the stress away.

GoogleAfter my wife checked out from the property, we didn't hear anything from Metro Village / the landlord (the landlord is the founder of Metro Village Yuet Ching TANG) until we asked them for the check out report. They wanted to deduct more than 1600 pounds from our full depost 2010 pounds, it's incredible! We told them we agreed them to deduct 400 pounds from our deposit, but they disagreed. We had to raised a dispute with TDS, the result was to award 356 pounds to the landlord. How much the difference is!!! In there check out proposal, they claimed 950 pounds to redecorate the whole property, but the fact is they notified us to vacate this property because the landlord sold it. We revisited this property afterwards, the current homeowner told us he did the redecoration and professionally cleaning by himself and he didn't seek any discount when he determined the final purchase price one month before the agent asked us to vacate this property. Response to Metro Village's response below: Ching allowed us to stay in the property free of charge whilst we looked for another suitable rental property, which is because you breach of contract, it was the compensation, we were satisfied with this solution. But it had nothing to do with the checkout issue. We raised a dispute in mydeposits in the end, and the adjudicators assigned less than 400 pounds to Metro Village and returned the rest of my deposit to us. So Metro Village's initial deduction of more than 1600 was very unreasonable.

Hi Y Wu, Metro Village are very sorry you feel you have been mistreated as this is never our intention and as you mention in an email you sent to our Property Manager, Jorge Portillo, on 10th May 2017, Metro Village have a good reputation, and we do of course pride ourselves on this. The professional clean at the end of the tenancy is agreed at the beginning of your tenancy, whether the new occupier then cleans the property (again) is down to them, but all of the properties occupied by Metro Village tenants must have a professional clean at the end of the agreement and you signed a tenancy agreement to this effect. Rental properties are often sold whilst they are have active tenants in them, unfortunately this has happened at a time you were renting a property. Ching explained the situation to your wife and allowed her to stay in the property free of charge whilst she looked for another suitable rental property, which your wife was satisfied with and resided in the property for over a month rent free. Please note, the check-out report is not conducted by Metro Village but a reputable third party inventory company, who are APIP trained and AIIC regulated, which you know as they sent you their report. We go on their findings in terms of end of tenancy disputes, Metro Village simply relay this information to the tenant along with the costs. I trust this clears up these matters with you. GoogleI live abroad and have recently sold an apartment through Metro Village. Lino Scialo was super helpful in getting a fair price, but also helping drive the sales process in a tight deadline. Dealing with solicitors can be frustrating, but Lino even helped push this process along. I was very happy with the service received on the sales side of the business.
