GooglePersonally, I found Mann Countrywide to be very helpful, offering a friendly, personalised service for the first-time landlord and providing all the assistance required. GoogleI let my flat through Mann Countrywide, and could not be happier with the service provided. In particular, Daniel Sarpong was absolutely fantastic. As anxious landlords, he went out of his way to make the process as smooth as possible for us, answering all our emails and calls quickly providing us with reassurance as well as information all along the way. Thanks also to Doug and the rest of the team for their help. Definitely a "local" service, not like you would expect get from the bigger chains, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an agent in the Sydenham area. Thanks Mann!

GoogleI'm just about to move into my second let arranged through Mann Sydenham and they have made the transition seamless. The staff are great, and it's lovely to see familiar faces still at the branch a year later. I think that says something about them as a team. Daniel (the manager) was great at looking out for suitable properties for us, and Doug is a warm, friendly Lettings negotiator who really looked after us. Hazel completed all the paperwork side of things very efficiently. What else can I say? Fab!

GoogleEstate agents don't usually get praise but I cannot praise and thank the team at Mann enough, especially Daniel who rented our house within 1 week of our initial appointment (when another agent had it on the market for 2 months) . Without his endless diplomacy and patience as my partner will now admit he had not been the easiest client as we had been disillusioned. I would highly recommend working with the team, popping into their office and having a proper chat about what you want to achieve. They are professional and most of all realistic about what you can acheive no Pipe Dreams with Mann.Reputable Team for sure!!

GoogleSpoke to a rep last Wednesday (29th Dec), that told me she would call me today Tuesday (4th Jan) to set up a viewing of a rental property I was interested in. 2pm rolled around and I had received no call, so I called to speak to someone. Was told I would be updated at a later date on the circumstances of the rental property as they had to hear back from the landlord on a potential offer. The conversation I had with the rep on Wednesday might as well have not taken place, with the way the situation was handled. I was happy to put the deposit in last week, but being told they would set up an appointment with me at a later date to get everything sorted gave me a false peace of mind to wait. Don’t offer appointments if you won’t follow through with getting back to someone. If I hadn’t called to check what was going on I would have never received a phone call back. GoogleDoug was nice but in the end we ended up renting a house in Penge with serious damp issues and a dodgy landlord. After a year of problems we left and it was horrendous to get the deposit back from Mann.

I think your you are aware from your conversations with the branch they have in fact ceased all dealings with this particular landlord as a result of your tenancy, we can only sincerely apologise as although there is no way for us to have known beforehand once we are made aware we consider it our absolute obligation to ensure our future clients are never knowingly placed into a problematic household. As you can see from our Google history customer care is an area our Sydenham branch takes extremely seriously.

GoogleA summary of the situation: I could see the property was available online and in person as there was a sign just in front of the property for a long time. I have called this agency on many occasions to ask if I could see the property in question. I have called them on the day it has been advertised. About 6 or more months ago, I had seen the same property being advertised. They have recently advertised it again, in the beginning of August 2021. Regardless it was available, they have not given me the chance to see the property.
