GoogleJoao and the team were very helpful to us when we were looking for our new flat. Our situation was a bit complicated, but they made sure to sort out everything as soon as possible and were really understanding. Joao also made sure that communication between the letting agent and the reference check went smoothly. Would definitely use Joao again when looking for a place!

GoogleQuite possibly the worst agents I had in my 7 years of renting in the UK. To mention just a few examples: 1. They left me to live in a fly-infested flat for 4 months, it had reached a point I couldn’t even use the bathroom anymore because the infestation was so bad. 2. People had tried to break into the flat when I was away for the weekend and since then the flat’s front door was broken, no need to repair apparently! Note that the front door was on the street so very easy for anyone to access. 3. The bed was broken when I moved in and it took them several months to let me get rid of it: it had become so painful to sleep on it that I slept on the floor for weeks while begging them to let me bin this broken bed and buy myself a new one. 4. When I moved in: the contract stated the flat had been professionally cleaned yet I found human pooh on the floor of the bathroom upon my arrival. 5. The flat was supposed to be repainted before I moved in, it never was before I moved in nor during the three years I stayed in it. 6. After I left the flat in a much better state I had found it (the checkout person was surprised how beautiful the place was compared to the check in), foxtons held hostage my deposit for much longer than was legal trying the “patience game” I suppose. They tried to get deductions from it for unpaid bills from before I even moved in and for a key system they had put in place before I moved in and never used. Quite the scam I’d say. 7. They gave perfect strangers full access to my flat just because “they want to see it” without even checking if those people could actually afford the rent. My flat was advertised on their website as “open for visits 8am-8pm Monday to Sunday”. This meant I had to accommodate sometimes a dozen viewings a day at any time during my work hours and before/after, seven days a week (random visits in the middle of the weekend included!) which was of course not fair for my personal life never mind feasible because I was working. So they entered my flat while I was having video calls with clients and even when I came down with Covid they brought prospect tenants and actively made them check my bedroom entering it when I was trying to rest… note that it was also not safe to bring people who could catch covid from me! I had warned them it wasn’t appropriate never mind legal but they brought people anyway. They never asked if they could bring people they just emailed me saying “we will bring people at this time. If you’re not in the flat we have keys we will enter in your absence”. Very nice…I’m sure the agents enjoy when perfect strangers enter their flat, open their wardrobes, check their mattress in their absence! If you have the choice avoid using this agency.

Richard was very professional when organising and executing the viewing, and was very forthcoming with the answers to all of my questions. Mark is excellent for the actual smooth administration of the purchase and is a very good communicator. Would definitely recommend this estate agent.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleSuch a joke, worst renting experience in london. First of all, without stating all of them, be aware this is full of hidden fee at every corner of your lease. From the beginning till the end. Be prepared to meet 15 different people at every step because their turnover is so high they probably get new people every month, be also prepared to send email every month to let them now that you pay because apparently their account manager can't find your payment as he has and I quote from him "too many account to look after". So they harass you threatening you of penalties that don't make any sense. Their agents are all different but none of them are nice really. They just can't be bothered and some have no manners at all, like entering your flat for visit without ringing the bell or knocking at your door. The agency will never help you in any situation, even in emergency because they rather give the responsibility to landlords. Over 1month and half for deposit to be returned, again because apparently its landlords fault. They are very good at telling you about respect of contract but they don't respect theirs. I guess if you pay 5000 per month they treat you differently but that was unfortunately not our case. To avoid badly

Unfortunately when a property is not fully managed by us we are not in charge of all aspects of the renting process, and the outcome of things like deposit returns are based solely on the Landlord as the contractual agreement is between the Landlord and the Tenant. With regards to fees, we make sure that these are available to all by presenting them in many different places, for example, these would have been stated within your original Tenancy Agreement and can be found at any time on our website. We are sorry that you were chased for your rent on a regular basis, however we advise at the start of the tenancy and throughout that a specific reference number must be attached to each payment to ensure that the payment is linked to the property. Unfortunately this did not happen, hence chasing you for a payment we could not identify. She has put me in touch with mortgage brokers so that I could understand my options and always followed up on any questions I have had on the properties.
