Our experience of finding a new house as 4 tenants in London was easy with Ludlow Thompson. Special shout out to Lola, who went above and beyond to help us out and smooth out the process. From the house hunt to move-in day, Lola was always responsive, attentive, and easy to work with. As an example, we needed to retrieve the keys to our new house in the evening, and Lola stayed at the office well after regular business hours to hand them over. We were extremely pleased with the efficiency with which repair to the oven in our property was taken care of by Rebecca Martin from the Worcester office and the maintenance team. There was clear explanation of the problem reported by the tenants and very prompt remediation. Chris from Finsbury Park did an excellent job!

My housemate and me had a very urgent and difficult enquiry: finding a new flat in less than two weeks with a rather limited budget. Chris has done his best from the start to support us, finding a fitting property that is within our budget and the area we are interested in. The communication was excellent - very fast and efficient. We had several viewing appointments only a day after contacting the agency. Also, he helped us negotiate all the terms and conditions with the landlord. We are very happy and thank Chris for the amazing job he’s done.

Lola was extremely helpful throughout our experience with LT. We were able to set up a viewing at very short notice and were then able to view at our own pace and leisure. All of our questions about the property were answered thoroughly. We also got great insights into the bid submission processes - prior to Lola’s help we were relatively clueless. This assistance extended after our evening viewing. We got an email detailing everything we needed to do, and some of the points that had been discussed at the property that evening. Despite not being interested in the property, we would definitely recommend LT.

Highly professional and proactive

I used Ludlow to sell my flat and worked with Romina. Hugely refreshing experience compared to other agents I’ve dealt with. Romina provided me with regular updates during the viewing process keeping me up-to-date with buyer activity and was very proactive during the sale process helping to move things along with solicitors, the buyer and even electricians and gas engineers. She also did a great job in fending off last minute attempts from the buyer to reduce price. Highly recommended.

I was introduced to Ludlow Thompson by a very reputable buying agent (Nakeebs Ltd). I was firstly greeted by Mathew Slater from Ludlow Thompson at my property viewing. Mathew was great! He has a very honest and professional character and was extremely knowledgable about the local area (Dulwich Village & Herne Hill). He actually made the entire process 'fun', especially since having had a very negative experience with other local agents. Mathew answered every question I had on the spot and he really took pride in his profession. I also dealt with James Garnett and Jonathan Campbell at Ludlow Thompson and it is easy to see that a high standard of professionalism echos throughout the entire professional team. I can't fault the service from ludlowthompson but particularly Mat Slater. We'd been left feeling frustrated and disappointed having had our flat on the market for months with another estate agent (not ludlowthompson). Mat came in, and straight away gave an in-depth and honest appraisal of our place. He noted all things we love about it and ensured these were highlighted in his excellent video, which showed off our place to it's best. He's been brilliant at working around us especially as we are both working from home full time. He always kept us up to date on feedback and was a super positive force to have around. I moved into a Ludlow Thompson managed property. On the day of move it they had arranged cleaning services which finished at 9PM, which should have been completed before move in. There was no hot water on move in at the property and they refused to help through their 24/7 service. Extremely disappointing and am extremely negative customer experience.

We have been dealing with Ludlows for the last 5 years, particularly with the Lettings department. Our point of contact has usually been Michael Rourke from the Tooting Branch. He has always been very professional, approachable and pleasant in all our dealings. He has given good advice and arranged cleaning, checkin/checkout and other services and dealt with any queries in a prompt manner. Selling a hard-to-sell flat

I recently sold my flat with Ludlow Thompson and would highly recommend them, particularly if it is a tricky one to sell. I initially had it on with another nearby well known agent who valued it far higher and then failed to sell it. Kirsty was from the outset very realistic about the value I could sell it for and her team worked tirelessly, getting footfall every week, and giving me clear feedback. That meant I could actively address things that came up, after which it finally got a reasonable offer. Again unlike the other agent they did not pressure me to accept offers way less than asking price. The sale process was nothing short of a nightmare, but Mark was amazing, keeping everyone on board and resolving things calmly until we finally exchanged 7 months down the line!

Outstanding performance in very difficult times!

Ludlow Thompson has been my Lettings agent for a number of years now with several properties and I have always been happy with their local expertise and services in what can be a very complicated business!This year (2020) needs no introduction as to how crazy it’s been. I had the frustration of tenants leaving mid tenancy and the local property/Lettings market crash...amongst so many other things no one thought would ever happen. I can’t praise my Lettings agent Fabian Akinola enough as he worked tirelessly to secure new tenants for me in what has proved to be an extraordinarily difficult climate created by the pandemic. Although rents have taken a hit, it was indeed looking like a landlord’s worse nightmare of having an empty property for a time. Fabian and his team have always performed well for me in the past and it’s easy to praise his work for me in good times -but having performed and risen to the challenges in such difficult times, it’s safe to say he has been outstanding!

Ludlow Thompson at Oval - it's a big yes from me!

I sold my property through Ludlow Thompson's Oval branch at the beginning of Clapham Road. Throughout the process, they were very professional in their dealings with me and ultimately helped me to achieve what I wanted. The manager Kirsty demonstrated that she knew the market and helped in getting me what I was looking for in terms of price. She also made some good suggestions in terms of photos and advertising. The process was longer that I anticipated, but that was only due to a buyer inexplicably pulling out. Again LT helped me in terms of getting the property back on the market and finding me a new buyer (now the new owner!) almost immediately. I would strongly recommend Kirsty and a member of her team Mark to anyone in the area wishing to buy or sell!
