Worst company I have ever had to deal…

Worst company I have ever had to deal with!!Highly unprofessional, you have to chase them up for every single issue as they will completely ignore you, you will be told different things from different people from the team making the whole thing complicated!They have been very unclear about their intention about the house as after taking the deposit they have then made up an excuse to put the property back on the marketHonestly never struggled so much with an agency! Completely a waste of money and time in a challenging situation like having to move into a new propertyAlso the team have been very rude and they didn’t even responded to our calls, and after days they send an email saying that they wanted to cancel for no reason without any prove, after asking them for nothing but a report!!

I bought a house through this firm…

I bought a house through this firm (Canada Water, London branch). The agent was pleasant and nice enough but I’m pretty sure I was lied to when it came to offers. The property had been on the market for months with very little interest. I had a first viewing and didn’t do a second viewing for a couple of months. I was told then there had been little interest. As soon as I’d make an offer suddenly there was a rival offer, very close to mine. What a coincidence. It then immediately went to sealed bids. Seemed strange at the time to go to sealed bids for 2 offers but I went along with it. I paid what I was comfortable paying but it’s a psychological game and you always go higher than you perhaps would but for the fact you’re told it’s your last opportunity. A day later I was told I was the preferred bidder and my offer had been accepted. When I moved in the seller had left her calendar and my viewings were pencilled in but none others. If I was lied to that’s pretty unethical.Within a few weeks of moving in I was bombarded with calls from the agent asking if I was interested in a valuation and selling my property. Um, I’d literally just moved in, why would I want to move? For the next 2 years I’ve been bombarded with further messages and calls. I’ve emailed several times asking that I get taken off their mailing list and they’re breaching GDPR but the calls and messages continued. Finally, after sending a further strongly worded email they seem to have stopped. I hope that continues.

Avoid.

Very slow to take any action even on urgent repairs. Slow communicating whether that be returning an email or letting tennants know in a reasonable time in advance of annual tests that need to be conducted. There is a clear company culture to dodge responsibility and accountability wherever possible. Letting fees are extortionate for the service provided.
