When the history of London property gets written, we'd definitely like to be seen as the early visionaries of co-living, the first to really "get it right". Landlords We’re not an estate agency, but we are lettings experts. The basic model is simple enough: we lease a property from a landlord on a 3 to 5-year agreement, and then we rent out the rooms to working professionals. We do all the hard work so the landlord doesn't have to. Tenants For tenants, it's a new-and-improved "2.0" version of communal London living. For instance, all of our properties have flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, and we send a cleaner every week. For professionals wanting to make their mark in London, it takes away a lot of hassle to not have to sit around the kitchen table figuring out who owes what for the heating.

FacebookUnderstand that when you rent with London Shared, you are dealing with a company. So that means that they are as inflexible, money-grabbing and unsympathetic as most corporations. From the get-go, I was met with several lies including being told that I would be able to lock my bedroom door and was even given a key for the door on start of tenancy which did not work. The reason for not being able to lock your doors is due to "HMO licencing" which says absolutely nothing about there bedroom doors not having a lock. I was pretty much fobbed off whenever I tried to mention this. There was a full week where I could not use my room due to redecoration and the decorator not turning up and also not tidying up after himself, requiring me to miss the start date of my work. That is £250 of not being able to use the facilities I paid for and £500 of income I could not receive due to having to push my job start date back. London Shared were unsympathetic and not understanding, and did not offer me any form reimbursement for what was a very stressful move to London after a few months of being homeless. Not recommended, especially if you're looking for a place to call "home". This was an expensive period of my life which was made far more stressful than necessary.

GoogleI've lived in a London Shared flat for the past few years (now moved out) - and It was easy to rent, especially with all the bills included. On moving out there was communication issues with the end of tenancy clean but Lize was really great at sorting out the problem swiftly (and is really great as a property manager).

FacebookMy experience with London Shared has been nothing but positive. The initial problems when moving into the newly renovated house in Clapham were quickly met with solutions by the team. Our property manager Lize was so lovely throughout the whole experience and always there to help when anything came up - She is so lovely and a true professional. If you are thinking of moving to London and want a house share LS is the way to go.

GoogleI've now lived in a few different London Shared properties and the houses are all amazing. I've met lots of my current friends by living with them and I've never had any issues with a housemate. Communal areas get cleaned and you rarely share a bathroom with more than 1 other person really. Sam was super helpful and showed me around a bunch of places and got me something with an easy commute to my work which is perfect. I would highly recommend.

GoogleI have been with London Shared for a year and a half now and find them a pleasure to deal with. Moving to London can be a pretty daunting experience and I don't know how I could have gotten through the house hunting process without their help. The inclusion of bills to the monthly rent makes sharing so much easier and the fact that they put you in a house with like minded people of a similar age means that I have actually made some really great friends thanks to London Shared. Everyone in the office is really quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend them. PS Big shout out to Allie, the most helpful member of the team!

GoogleI have been with London Shared for just about 1 year now and I have to say it's been extremely convenient in every regard; especially the repair services offered by Mitch! He has always been quick to attend to any requests no matter how small. He also did a wonderful job with the renovations in our house! Catherine is just as competent in her role and is most helpful with any contract related or administration queries. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending London Shared to anyone looking for a place to call home in this most gorgeous city!

GoogleI'm a new comer to London, and spent three weeks looking for a house/flat to live in. It wasn't until I stumbled upon London Shared that I actually felt like I found I place I could live in. They were really understanding when I explained that I had just moved to the city and hadn't found a job or really anything yet. Carl was really friendly and the viewing for the home I currently live in was the first time I left a place with a smile on my face and happy. I took the room that day, and have been happy ever since I moved in. The staff in the office are really friendly, especially Catherine, I don't feel like I'm bothering them when I call/email them with questions. They even provided me with a desk when I asked for one. They are always on hand and helpful. I'm really excited to keep living here, having renewed my agreement because I was so satisfied! It's definitely an agency I'll be recommending to anyone looking for a a home to live in.
