The best property manager in 10 years

My new property manager Thomas Chan is very professional, efficient and effective. He sent me an introductory email while his outgoing predecessor did not inform me that she was leaving. He also met up with me during my visit to London and was very prompt and responsive both to my emails and to my tenants as well. He was able to source a lighting contractor and initiated lighting repairs which had been outstanding for more than 8 months (which had not been properly attended to by his predecessor). He is very communicative and keeps to his word on follow up and updates. He is by far the best property manager that has been handling my apartment for the past 10 years.

Lease renewal

To date, Life Residential have not disappointed us. They are professional in their service, prompt in problem solving and sensitive to any concerns highlighted. The fact LR is our First n only Agent since our flat was delivered in 2012 speaks volume of the level of satisfaction. Quite honestly, there were some unhappy periods, but these are to be expected when managing a large company like LR. Keep up the good work.

The worst letting agent ever.

The worst letting agent ever.I have an issue with re-referencing. The referencing agent they use, Goodlord is totally hopeless.They promised that they would help, but at the end we were put in circles.The lady of their Admin team is extremely rude I have to say. Keep arguing with customers and never admit anything she did wrong. She always try her best to make an excuse and blame the problem on customers. Once she can’t argue with you, she simply doesn’t reply. It would be great if she use that effort at sorting out my problem.They are very passive as well. You always have to chase them for updates. Otherwise things are not going to be sorted out.I remember last year I had another issue with them. When I moved in they refused because they said no money was received. But at the end of the day, it was their mistake checking the wrong bank account. They never apologised.I think this company is simply incapable of doing their job decently.So in a nutshell, avoid.

Myself and my girlfriend cannot thank Robin enough for his help in finding us our flat. We were massively let down by a previous Estate Agent (not LIFE!) for a property despite paying a deposit and we were running out of time to find a place before our previous tenancies were ending. Robin understood our situation and provided his help right when we needed it. Robin was attentive and listened to exactly what we wanted and needed. He provided some options and we managed to get our flat sorted in the next few days and it really took the stress out of lives. Not only was Robin very helpful in getting us our flat but he has also been very helpful in answering any questions we’ve had since the move and is always available if we need something. I cannot recommend a better estate agent!
