Good for both landlord and tenants

I'm a landlord with several properties fully managed by Life for 7+ years, as well as some in other areas which are managed by other agents as Life don't operate there. Life Residential beats the other agents hands down in terms of professionalism and service both to me as landlord, and to my tenants. I know that they look out for my tenants' interests, advocating on behalf of the tenants to say, eg this repair must be completed promptly as it's not fair on the tenants to delay. From my point of view I have had several good property managers over the years. Particular credit is due to Nick Martin in management because I have come to trust his judgement regarding works needed on the properties and I respect the fact that he will be very clear if something needs to be done, and has good relationships with the trades so can get works done promptly and for a fair price. Cliff in Sales has been great too, coming up with ideas for changing the layout in my properties to make them better for tenants and more profitable for me. I just wish Life also covered the towns where my other properties are.

Great checkout experience

As a tenant for the past year, it has been mostly a good experience. The first property manager I had was always quick to respond to my emails and was very helpful. The second one, Casey, on the other hand, sent me an eviction notice in the middle of my tenancy by mistake. Got my move out date wrong by a month as well without any apologies. Property manager Jack was in charge of my move out and he has also been on point and addressed any concerns I had promptly.

Very efficient sale process

Used Life Residential to sell a flat which they had managed as a rental flat for many years. The initial contact for the sale was Rhys Dewar who provided fair advice and promptly secured a buyer for us. The sale process was then handled by a different team and our contact was Molly Tilley. Molly is one of the most efficient people I have ever come across and I have nothing but praise for her. Molly ensured the sale process kept moving forward and kept everyone informed at every stage, letting us know the reason for any delay and what she was doing to resolve it. I only had cause to speak with her once during the process and the query was dealt with and resolved immediately. All in all she made the whole sale process very smooth.

They did NOT pay me back the deposit even I checked out 2 MONTHS ago. THOMAS CHAN lied and yelled at me, although he didn't work with my deposit process at all. I have same experience with another person in the review. You can find same staff name. (Modified Nov) Evelyn (Property Manager of The printworks) did NOT work at all. Amy is really kind and response fast.

Shruti is a helpful, friendly, and responsive property manager. As is often the case, we have had many maintenance issues since moving into our place, but Shruti is always eager to help and sort every issue. She is easily contactable and always polite and thoughtful. Abi Shanks as my property manager

Abi Shanks as my property manager has been excellent and I couldn’t thank her enough for her continuous support during my tenancy renewal process. My landlord unfortunately has defaulted on their mortgage and I was instructed by the mortgage company to move out when I was about to renew my contract. After I was given the notice, Abi has been continuously helping me get updates from the landlord to understand the situation and what’s the best option for me. She provides professional advise and she responds to my emails/calls promptly. When things seemed to fall through, she also consulted citizen advice for me and helped me look for potential new property to stay through the contingency team. I really appreciate her help during a stressful period like this. The fact that she provided extra help made me feel I’m not in this situation alone and I’m genuinely thankful that she treated me not just as a customer, but also someone who needed help. I would definitely recommend life residential to my friends based on my experiences with Abi.

Overall great experience, swift and efficient solutions to all our everyday issues with the flat!

We had a great experience with Life Residential until now. They help us a lot to have a smooth transition into our new flat. We are happy to have Marcus as a property manager. He contacted us very promptly to find out about the issues we needed solved. He visited the rented flat just the next day after his holiday. Marcus is very courteous, pleasant, well-mannered and responsive in solving issues in our rented flat. During his visit, he showed he was knowledgeable in how the flat is built and its appliances and this made communication about our needs very easy. Moving to London from abroad and finding a rental was a big task. A big thanks to Sally from life residential, who made the whole process very smooth. Pooja Pandya is very responsible. My apartment still 4 months away from expiration, and she has renewed the tenancy for another year. I don't know whether the tenant contacted her first or she’s first to contact the tenant. But she completed the whole thing in one day. This made me feel at ease for another year not to worry. I have been a landlord for a while, usually agents only contacted the tenants two months in advance. Therefore, my apartment would be vacant for weeks without rental income.
