TrustpilotGood repair management though with delays and having to follow up
While it is good that the recent repair was managed, the delay by the person in charge of it meant that we were without a washing machine over the Christmas period for 5 weeks. The person in charge of repairs organised a repair to be done for our washing machine on the 20th of January; the machine had broken on Thursday the 16th of December. We had notified the person on the 17th but they said there was no time to send someone on a Friday and then on the 20th of December, the person said they will only deal with this after the new year (instead, for example, scheduling an engineer to come before Christmas or in the first week of January). We had to then follow up with the person on the 3rd of January and an engineer only came on the 7th of January to take a picture of the needed parts. Due to a two week delay in getting the parts, an engineer repaired the machine only on the 20th of January. While we appreciate there are delays due to getting the landlord's approval and delays in supply chains, an improved experience for us would have occurred without the delays on the part of the facilities person and without us having to follow up. This has also been typical over the past months for other repairs. It is important to note, however, that the facilities person has generally managed to address our requests.

A special mention for Rebecca Cannon in the Acton office - she really goes out of her way to resolve problems, liaising between landlord and tenant and ensuring that everything to do with the tenancy goes smoothly and satisfactorily for everyone concerned.

GoogleAvoid at all costs. They will be attentive during the sales process but as soon as you sign on the dotted line you are bottom of the queue. They do not respond to queries or fix issues in the property despite having promised to do so. At the end of tenancy, they run a racket with a cleaning company to extort an inflated amount for cleaning and steaming from your deposit.

Life residential doesn't return deposit. It took long months to agree on deductions and even after all was agreed they didn't return the entire amount and manager stopped responding to emails or phone calls.
