GoogleNicky and the team managed the let of my flat professionally and in a friendly manner. They took the strain out of what can sometimes be a time-consuming affair. They rectified a mistake made by one of their service providers without query or delay. Many thanks. Would definitely recommend.

GoogleI moved to the UK three years ago and Nicky was very helpful and made it possible for us to get a lease where all the other real-estate agents where somewhat more difficult and requiring large deposits. Any minor issues that occurred have been promptly resolved.

GoogleProfessional, responsive and attentive are just some of the adjectives I would use to describe my experience with Leo Newman estate agents. Nicky responded to my online request to view an apartment very quickly and then showed huge flexibility and availability to show me the flat. But the best was the speed and agility he managed in the process so I could move in very quickly! I really appreciate an estate agent that understands and helps both a landlord and a tenant, unfortunately this is not something you usually come across in London. GoogleUnfortunately, we were very disappointed in the service provided by Leo Newman, and I would not at all recommend them. From the very beginning of the lease (flat in W1), we've been having issues. Other than the fact that they initially didn't even manage to give us a full set of keys, we had to move in one week later than agreed in the contract, since they failed to provide us with the necessary furniture. This was evidently a hassle in itself. What made it worse, however, was that they did not pay us back the money lost for that one week. The furniture did not meet our standards, either; the bed, for instance, was simply made out of two boxes, which was quite frankly ridiculous for the price we were paying. Nevertheless, the absolute peak of their unprofessionalism was when we had issues with the gas stove and they sent us someone to fix it who did not have a Gas ID, i.e. who was not trained or fit for the task. We ended up having a gas leak (!!!), resulting in an emergency technician coming to our flat at 3AM to turn everything off. This was absolutely petrifying, since they actively harmed our safety. Moreover, they subsequently took a long time getting us someone to fix the issue, meaning we had no heating for several days, and that at the end of October. The list of issues goes on, but it boils down to the fact that Leo Newman really broke every record regarding low standards and unprofessionalism, and even put us in a dangerous situation. Hence I very much do not recommend this agency.
Katharina, thank you for your review and airing your thoughts in such a forum. It is a pity to allow such a negative sentiment when you remained in situ for the full contract length, paying... you were obviously happy overall. I dont believe the management team deserve the comments, but you are entitled to your opinion. We remain a company focused on service and with 180 reviews and an average of 4.8- this speaks for itself.
