I would highly recommend using KFH when it comes to looking for properties to rent. Not just KFH but Rianna Watson! She made my experience as smooth as possible. Not only was she thorough, but she was so efficient I’ve never seen nothing like it. If it wasn’t for Rianna I honestly don’t feel I’d be sane right now. When looking for properties to rent it can be stressful juggling work and also having viewings, but Rianna accommodated every single one of my needs. I can be a little over bearing sometimes, as I like things to be perfect especially somewhere where I’ll be living & Rianna went above and beyond with every property she sourced for us to view. Sometimes you get agents that don’t necessarily care and are just about closing deals and commission to get you out of their hair. However I didn’t feel like that with Rianna. She’s extremely passionate about what she does and I would recommend absolutely everyone to use her when going down this route! Surely there’s things I may have missed out, but I can’t thank her enough!!!

KFH agency in Canada Water is a desastrous agency. Me and my partner have been moving in several properties in London, managed by different agencies and this one is definitely one of the worst. When receiving the tenancy agreement, we reviewed it and many provisions were wrong (sums requested from tenants whereas currently illegal to do so, blank spaces in the breaking clause instead of the number of months, typos in our names) and although I asked it to be corrected the second version received was still wrong. When moving in, the water system of the flat did not work at all, meaning that we had no shower for almost three weeks and the agency was neither responsive nor helpful. I had to call them on a daily basis as well as email them in order to get this fixed. The professional cleaning promised under the contract has not been done and the flat was very dirty (this was also confirmed by the clerk who put it in the report). I had to call the agency for those issues and many others on a daily basis to get anything done. One day, after work, we came back to our building and the front door/lock of the building had been changed without us being notified. We called them and the agency was closed so we had to wait until a neighbor came in to open the door. The person having the role of property manager of our flat is extremely rude and unhelpful on the phone. Our experience has been terrible so far and they would not do anything to make it better at this stage (three months after moving in we are still chasing for repairs to be carried out). They seem to be helpul to landlords given other comments I have read ( and which I unfortunately relied on when searching about them) but no tenants friendly at all. I have seen comparable comments from other people down below this chain so please be careful when using them. I have emailed them following their reply below - still waiting for a reply.

My experience with KFH Canada Water Branch was incredibly frustrating. Firstly, Ashley, the agent we were scheduled to meet, kept us waiting outside in the cold winter weather for nearly an hour. When Ashley finally got in touch with us, it was with a careless attitude, informing us that the property had already been sold, the viewing was canceled, and he was 'too busy to let us know'. We had a scheduled appointment at 11 am, and during the wait, we left over 5 messages attempting to make contact with him. It's bewildering how someone could claim to be 'too busy' during 11 am to 12 pm for a scheduled appointment at 11 am. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for clients' time was truly unacceptable. It appears they prioritize their profits over customer satisfaction, assuming they can afford to disregard clients' time and needs due to their extensive property listings. However, I would like to give credit to the reception lady on January 27, 2024, who kindly helped me contact Ashley during the entire waiting ordeal, as well as to his colleagues who met us outside of the property to assist us. They were the only positive aspects of an otherwise highly disappointing experience.

Review of experience with Keith Elder at KFH The hunt: From the very first time we met Keith, we were relieved to find a straight-talking, low pressure and easy going agent. He took us to see three properties on the first day - none of which were to our liking. We almost felt guilty for wasting Keith's time because he was just that nice. As our search continued, we would hear from Keith from time to time, but at no stage was he ever pushy. Later in our search, we asked Keith to show us to a few more places and he naturally obliged. We were more sure of what we wanted now, and felt that Keith was really listening to us and also beginning to understand what would make us happy. We really appreciated that. He seemed to have our best interests at heart, which helped us relax a little and feel comfortable about really explaining the various features that would really make us happy. I have no doubt, that this helped him (and us) finally find the property we eventually purchased... because just as we were close to putting an offer in on a place that he'd shown us earlier, Keith called me up to say 'hold that thought' because he'd found a real gem, which would fit us perfectly. I arranged to meet him the following evening, before the property had been marketed (or even photos taken). I left feeling very excited about it, so my wife went back the next evening and we agreed it was perfect. Keith was clearly incredibly excited for us, as he also knew that it would be a great home for us and our 1 year old son. The process: The thing that stood out most during the buying process was Keith's willingness to assist us as first-time buyers and make sure we were not wasting money on things we didn't need to. I can honestly say that Keith went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He kept us relaxed and I honestly trusted his opinion about things. He was also willing to iron out potential issues and make sure we had as smooth a buying experience as possible. Towards the final days of the purchase, Keith went on leave, but not first before making sure we were completely satisfied and making sure that he'd given us his colleague Chris Early's details. Chris then continued on in the same vane as Keith, in his absence... providing advice, looking for solutions and quickly resolving any complexities that emerged. The result: We love our home, and we know the vendors also felt well looked after, which is also important. Because our experience was so positive with Keith and Chris, we decided to buy them each a bottle of champagne as thanks.... which I think is a great testament to the level of service we received from them and a great validation of the very positive nature of this review. I'm sure it's not often that buyers feel that good about their experience that they want to thank the agents in a meaningful way.
