I would suggest being cautious when considering KFH for finding a house in Muswell Hill. I had a challenging experience with their service. I ended up renting a place through them, and unfortunately, they also manage the property, not just the letting process. Their response to any property-related issue tends to be slow and inefficient. Be prepared to follow up with them on everything. It often feels like their decisions favor the landlord rather than the tenant, and there is a lack of transparency in their communication with the landlord. If you raise concerns about property management provided by KFH, the branch manager might respond by saying they operate separately. Seriously! To save yourself some peace and reduce stress, it might be wise to avoid properties let and managed by KFH. They can be quite unprofessional and inefficient, which can be frustrating. If the agent rushes you during the viewing, it might be best to skip it. If the property is managed by KFH, consider skipping it as well. If you find the agents unprofessional during the viewing, it could be a sign to look elsewhere. I experienced this myself and felt it might have been related to my race, as the agent was very professional with others. Additionally, don't expect much empathy in your interactions.

We sold our house through KFH in May this year. The process of finding a buyer took around four months, during which time the sale fell through twice. Each time, the team at KFH (Chris Taylor, to be specific, who found all three of our buyers) quickly recovered and produced an impressive number of new viewers, allowing the purchase of our new house not to fall through. I really can't say enough good things about all the agents there, especially Chris. The booking and the viewing process, easily one of the most annoying part of selling a house, was conducted efficiently and respectfully of our home. During the negotiating and conveyancing part, Chris was a strong partner for us and helped us get the price we wanted in the best possible timeline. I trusted him completely and would happily recommend him and the team to anyone.

We were absolutely blown away by Jade at KFH. She went above and beyond to help us find our perfect property, even meeting us much later in the day (when she should have been done with viewings for the day!) to squeeze us in at a property we really wanted to see.. (which we now own!). She took the time to get to know us and she really got a sense of what we were looking for. She was always available for help and advice and she really made you feel as though she cared. She always replied to our emails promptly and followed things up as soon as we asked her to. Rebecca Zacharia was a wonderful agent! Even though we had a few problems with viewings thanks to an awkward previous tenant, once we were allowed in Rebecca made everything easy and quick for us. Annie May was great- as she kept us informed about the rental property we wanted. The agency is very good, ensuring we got in on the day we wanted and also contacting us outside of working hours. We hadn't rented before and Annie really helped us through the system. They were all very patient. The fees that all agencies charge are shocking but KFH are no worse than anyone else and at least they provide a professional and excellent service.
