Dreadful experience from Keatons Lettings, Mile End. A totally unacceptable and very costly four month void on a fully re-decorated house with garden brand new windows throughout. The quality of decoration/repair work done by Keaton's contractor was appalling, yet despite the guys from Keatons agreeing on-site that this was the case, they defended their contractor leading to further delays rather than resolution. Astonishingly I was told that the quality of workmanship for rental properties is different to that done privately! Their contractor's work remains unfinished; thankfully I sourced the new windows myself from a reputable company.Keatons always had an excuse for the unacceptable amateurish work done, and consistently attempted to blame me rather than act in my interest as their client. The Keatons representatives I encountered were full of self-praise, yet the their behaviour towards me I left me feeling unheard, disappointed and angry. Naturally I did not continue with their fully managed service!

We had a terrible experience on our moving day, the lift to our 5th floor apartment was not working. Keatons left us in a helpless situation,even though keatons is not responsible for its working conditions,we should have been informed in prior to moving date. We were left in street with all our stuff and had to carry them ourselves. When we went to check with keatons maintenance team they were of no help other than blaming each others departments. In the beginning of viewing process Justine reynolds was very helpful with us. We expected that kind of professionalism and cooperation moving forward, but this incident was quite disappointing. In future keatons please work on your communication and let your clients know beforehand so that they can be prepared.
Thank you for the review, we have been discussing this with you and are very understanding to the issue of moving in without the lift working, as you have noted it is unfortunately a block management issue we were not aware of as on our visit in the week the lift was working. Had this been flagged to us or an issue at the time we would have informed you prior to your move so you could have planned your items accordingly. When this was raised, we enquired with the block management and provided you with an update as soon as one was received, unfortunately your direct property manager does not work over the weekend, when you moved in, so you would have had assistance from his colleague in the interim. We do hope going forward you continue to feel to the professional and communicative experience, as had with Justine thus far. As always we are happy to help and trust you have all of our contact details should you require in the future.
