I found the process of selling my flat through acorn easy. Both Kevin and Lamar were very professional, responded quickly,and impressed me with their knowledge of the market in the area, and also honestly guided me on the best price. I also found their colleague Katie really great - she kept me in the loop and was always responsive. Will definitely use again!

We’ve a very bad experience with their Gravesend office. Made the offer in August, my solicitor received the draft contract pack only in November, according to the estate agents (Ezze and Kevin) the management pack was ordered in September. This week Kevin called me stating the seller has financial issues and not able to pay for the management pack?! Fair enough, but they insisted on that I can pay for it and then it’ll be deducted from the purchase price. But what happens if one of parties pull out before exchange or I don’t get the mortgage (it was still pending due to cladding issues in the building), there’s no way I can legally claim back the price of the management pack. The seller asked us to have a meeting in the agency office then didn’t show up? The whole situation and the attitude of Kevin, the sales manager, was really cheeky - I’m not ready to pay the sellers conveyancing fee, I’m sorry. The property is back on the market as I see but with misleading info, it says it has riverside view which is not true! Very bad first time buyer experience… not recommend Gravesend office at all!

Had a viewing booked recently and a couple (asian) had viewed the property before us arriving and had said in passing that the agent was very rude and had made remarks assuming that this was NOT the place for them. Of course me and my partner (black) decided to judge with our own selves and from the get go the agent in particular gave a frosty reception when seeing us. I went to put my hand out to shake and was rebuffed and when saying hello the reply was just straight to showing us the property. There was no eye contact or friendly smile and when we asked questions we was hit with blunt and to the point answers. There definitely was a air of that this place was NOT for us also and not even a goodbye or next steps if we was interested.When trying to ring through, the agent was never available and when speaking to someone on behalf of the agent we was hit with rudeness and abruptness and to this day have had no response from thr agent or company.Of course you can judge for yourselves but I would save yourself the bother and go elsewhere or suffer the same fate as the other couple as well as ourselves.
