I would like to put 0 or less but it’s not possible, the estate agent John D Wood in Weybridge it’s a joke so unprofessional, ignoring customers after paying the deposit, only to don’t return them back with the pathetic excuse (Tegan Ellis).I don’t understand how can existing on the market the estate agency like this one , with so many 1 star reviews, apparently they try to take advantage and don’t return the money because I’m foreigner .Giorgio Mitu

GoogleI have rented a property through John D Wood (Wandsworth) for the past two years (Nov 20-Nov 22) which was found for me by Imogen & Shoeni. As that tenancy was ending, Imogen & Shoeni proactively contacted me about a property which they felt would be a great match for my requirements. I viewed it, they were spot on and I made an offer (under their guidance) straight away, which was accepted. All the checks and paperwork were organised in less than a week. GoogleMy partner and I viewed a property shown by James Setright. We were particularly impressed with his knowledge, not only of the property but the surrounding area and approximate costs of renovations we were considering. He was incredibly professional, making us feel comfortable and informed enough to put in an offer, whilst representing his vendor to the best of his abilities. We very strongly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thanks for making a stressful experience a lot less stressful! To add to this. We just exchanged on this property and James has remained available and supportive throughout. He was a huge help with our difficult solicitor and a real asset for the whole experience. We also met his colleague Stewart who was similarly knowledgeable and helpful with the whole process. Overall, seems to be an outstanding agency in general.

GoogleI can't speak highly enough of this office. I have just exchanged on a property and cannot praise James, Stuart and Victoria enough for their perseverance and support in getting our sale agreed. Prior to selling Shoeni and the rental team managed this pretty for many years, again highly professional finding good and ultimately happy tenants for the property. All in all a professional team be it for sales or lettings. I cannot recommend this office highly enough.

It’s so refreshing to work with agents that really care about the entire letting process & not just getting the contract signed! The Battersea Team were brilliant to deal with in the sale of our property. Fred in particular was fantastic to deal with throughout the sale process. As we were immigrating to New Zealand during the sale process and had departed the UK after accepting an offer but before exchange of contracts, Fred was exceptional with providing feedback and assisting us when opposite time zones were a challenge. I would have no hesitation recommending John D Wood to other sellers in Battersea and a big thanks to Fred for all his help!

To describe the agents of the Wandsworth branch of John D Wood as 'incompetent' is to do that word a disservice. Their inability to do even the most basic elements of their job would be hysterically funny if you were not the one to bear the brunt of their idiocy. From the moment I moved in as a tenant to when landlord sold the house, any interaction with John D Wood would leave me agog at how utterly useless and unnecessarily aggressive they were at their jobs. They treated us tenants as though we were pests and an annoying inconvenience. Their bias towards our landlord wasn't hidden, and we were lucky that we had a good relationship with him that CCing him into our communications with John D Wood would lead to a solution to whatever we were trying to sort out. They surpassed themselves in incompetency when our landlord sold our house. "24 hours notice for viewings? Nah, we'll just turn up with interested buyers when we want." I came home early from work one day to find viewers ALONE IN THE HOUSE who said that the agent had "just left". Said agent also insisted that we allow the eventual buyers bring their family around on a day to view that we had said multiple times that we could not accommodate, making a viewing appointment and not turning up to the viewing, leaving me to deal with the frustrated would-be viewers. But a standout communication from this agent was when we emailed our concerns about potentially not being able to move should a national lockdown occur and being told that we were "being unnecessarily hysterical" and being "ensnared by media speculation". Upon that, we decided to leave sooner than we had planned, which turned out to be a couple of days before lockdown happened.There is also no internal communication between agents and a lot of buck-passing from what I can gather. TL;DR John D Wood's agents are incompetent, useless at their jobs, aggressive and dismissive to tenants, will not reply to communications from tenants, but will harass tenants almost hourly if they want something done "ASAP". Avoid at all costs if you are looking to rent, and be wary if you are a landlord/looking to sell.
