2 times they have been to appraise my house and i never hear anything back. On the second occasion i mentioned my first experience and got told it wouldn't happen again. it did. They then contacted me a 3rd time for an appraisal. DO NOT USE.

As a landlord, I cannot recommend this agency. They have high staff turnover, are extremely disorganized, blatantly mis-inform, and oversee shoddy maintenance. The experience from the POV of the tenant seems to be just as poor. The sales team blatantly over-promises, then the landlord is left trying to understand why they are on the hook for things they explicitly did not agree to. Really a horrible experience all around.

The resulting Tenancy Agreement accurately reflects the intentions of both ourselves and the Landlord and both parties understand their obligations thanks to Rebecca's assistance. The team followed up all our questions immediately and were very thorough. I would highly recommend working with this firm to others.

GoogleI rented a flat through their agency for a year. They sent me the check-in inventory 9 months after the beginning of my rental agreement, after many fights with them because they DIDN’T know who had it. When I left the flat after a year, they sent me the inventory check out 2 weeks after it being done and i’m still chasing for my deposit after a month. BAD AGENTS, BAD AGENCY

For various reasons (outside control of John D Wood or myself), this was a long, drawn-out sales process. I have to say that John D Wood team was at all times professional, responsive and went above and beyond to get the sale done and completed. Claire Carter (based at the Weybridge branch) handled my purchase from start to finish and was exceedingly efficient. I was on a very tight timeline yet she saw no reason as to why we could not complete on time and she held true to her word. She chased deadlines when needs be and kept me informed immediately of any requests for information or any news.I never had to chase her for an answer to any question I had and I hugely appreciated her transparency throughout the process. I cannot recommend her and the agency enough.

I rented a property that was part managed by John D Wood. The service was just awful - whenever we wanted something done with any urgency, they never responded. As soon as they wanted something, we'd receive really abrupt and quite rude emails demanding that we respond immediately. The tone of all staff was rude and often accusatory. I still have no idea what the landlord paid them for as they didn't manage the property as we dealt with all the maintenance issues.

A recent new tenant who turned out to be very pleasant was found very quickly. The previous Tenancy Find was supposed to be for two tenants in the flat whereas in fact there were three and I was not happy about that.
