no deposit back after 10 weeks I rented from John D Wood for 2 years. They were unbelievably incompetent and non-responsive for the entire tenure. now I have to ring them every week to try to get my deposit back.

GoogleMy experience with John D Wood is the best I have ever encountered from an estate agent, and I’ve encountered quite a few over the years. I was looked after by the delightful William Saunders at the Chelsea lettings office, who got to know what I was looking for after showing me around several properties. I was looking over a period of a couple of months and he kept in touch without being at all pushy or ‘salesy’. He even kept a spreadsheet of properties that matched my preferences. Once I found the perfect place the whole office were extremely helpful at getting me through the referencing process, especially since my circumstances were not usual. I completed the handover this week, which was also to a very high standard. I really could not have asked for more. For the first time, I actually enjoyed paying the agency fee, with a feeling that it was well deserved. Thank you John D Wood Chelsea Lettings.

GoogleThis agency is totally incompetent. I have only experienced problems with them. Worse, they are thieves and they rent unsanitary properties. I'm very surprised by the positive comments, certainly fake, just run away.

GoogleMollie at John D Wood was extremely knowledgeable about the whole west London area, making it easy for me to decide on Chelsea as a place to live, she seemed to know exactly what I was looking for and was able to get me what I think was a fantastic flat for a great price. The whole process was very smooth and easy, she is an asset to the team and I would recommend her to my friends also looking to relocate to the UK

Expect this company to be totally negligent returning your deposit (even if your landlord agreed for this to be released). They will make you chase your own money for weeks after you moved out, an absolute nightmare.

The worst agent service I have ever seen in my life. We have been dealing with them for more than a year. We wrote a letter to them complaining and nothing was ever done. They delegate their work to everyone, they just pretend they work. Never hire them.

J D Wood did a fantatic job helping us sell our flat in Wimbledon Park. We faced a few hurdles that were unexpected but Chris and Lewis got things on track and got the sale through when we had given up. I would thouroughly reccomend them if you are considering selling a property.

Nadia, at John D Wood, was an excellent communicator and frank about the flat, the market and clients. She was obviously knowledgeable about the product, prompt in placing the flat in the market and with viewings. I really would like to give Nadia, at John D Wood the opportunity to rent this flat for me when it becomes vacant again - I really valued and will value Nadia's approach.

Had a really good experience! Ellie Bowers the estate agent I was in contact with was very nice, efficient... She showed me a few properties and really into consideration what I liked and did not liked and found me the ideal flat. Her approach was not as salesy as can be with some other estate agents. Feels like she really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend.

The tenants that JDW found for me in 2019 decided to leave after one year, disappointingly, but JDW (Trinity Road branch, SW18) found two people who appear to be excellent replacements, with only a 10-day void. The necessary arrangements were all made in a professional manner. I'd particularly like to single out Shoeni Oates for the excellent service and advice I've received as an inexperienced landlord.
