no deposit back after 10 weeksI rented from John D Wood for 2 years. They were unbelievably incompetent and non-responsive for the entire tenure. now I have to ring them every week to try to get my deposit back.

GoogleI recently purchased a house from John D Wood Fulham, and the team there were great! Our agent, Emma Bruce, was infinitely patient during our search, and once the purchase process was underway, she was very responsive throughout the process (even returning calls and email while skiing in the alps!). She provided us with timely and sound advice and also gave us some great contacts when we needed them (such as our architect who we are now using). Most importantly, I found the team there to have very high standards of integrity and honesty which were really important to me. We dealt with at least half a dozen different agencies during our search and I would say that John D Wood stood out for us - both in terms of service level as well as the quality of the properties they had in their portfolio. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering buying or selling a house in the area.

TrustpilotThey will make you chase your own money.
Expect this company to be totally negligent returning your deposit (even if your landlord agreed for this to be released). They will make you chase your own money for weeks after you moved out, an absolute nightmare.

The worst agent service I have ever seen in my life. We have been dealing with them for more than a year. We wrote a letter to them complaining and nothing was ever done. They delegate their work to everyone, they just pretend they work. Never hire them.

J D Wood did a fantatic job helping us sell our flat in Wimbledon Park. We faced a few hurdles that were unexpected but Chris and Lewis got things on track and got the sale through when we had given up. I would thouroughly reccomend them if you are considering selling a property.

She was obviously knowledgeable about the product, prompt in placing the flat in the market and with viewings. Had a really good experience! Ellie Bowers the estate agent I was in contact with was very nice, efficient... She showed me a few properties and really into consideration what I liked and did not liked and found me the ideal flat. Her approach was not as salesy as can be with some other estate agents. Feels like she really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend.

The tenants that JDW found for me in 2019 decided to leave after one year, disappointingly, but JDW (Trinity Road branch, SW18) found two people who appear to be excellent replacements, with only a 10-day void. The necessary arrangements were all made in a professional manner. I'd particularly like to single out Shoeni Oates for the excellent service and advice I've received as an inexperienced landlord.
