GoogleI rented a flat from Jackson’s in March 2021 and was convinced that the best contract to sign (by the estate agent) was one in which there was no break clause, but that allowed me to leave early and only pay rent until another tenant was found. When that time occurred (over 2 months ago), the agent increased the rent by over 30% and has since failed to find another tenant (surprise!).
Communication throughout the process has been terrible and inconsistent. My partner and I are left with a huge liability and complete lack of control of the situation. The letting team seem to be incapable of finding viable tenants in an undeniably hot rental market. I haven’t heard of a rental flat on the market for over two months in years!!

GoogleABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This agency is nothing short of a disgrace. From the moment you engage with Jacksons, it becomes painfully clear that they care about one thing and one thing only: commission. They will mislead, pressure, and manipulate you at every opportunity to squeeze more money out of you, ethics and transparency are completely absent from their playbook.
Even under force majeure circumstances, where any decent agency would show some flexibility or understanding, Jacksons remained cold, ruthless, and greedy. They refused to show an ounce of compassion or professional courtesy, just more invoices, more fees, more excuses.
As a first-time landlord, I was hoping for some guidance and support, but instead I was met with incompetence and negligence at every turn. Their communication was inconsistent, dismissive, and often outright wrong. I had to correct their mistakes multiple times, everything from messed-up tenancy agreements to not showing up on time.
Jacksons are not just unhelpful, they are actively harmful. Their unprofessionalism is staggering, and they operate with a blatant disregard for your time, money, and trust. If you’re considering working with them, don’t. You’ll regret every moment.
