GoogleHorrendously incompetent when dealing with tenants - Jackson’s WILL lose you money and make your life a misery.
Basic procedures such as altering contracts can take upwards of months on end. You will be palmed off to new names, have to explain the situation multiple times, your case will be dropped. We’ve had multiple potential housemates who have either left or decided not to join based solely on the incompetence and negligence of the letting agents, costing us large sums of money and distress. The majority of times we’ve had to deal with them, they have easily surpassed the legal definition for gross negligence.
It’s generally understood when renting property that the landlord is the customer and the tenants are the product, but no agents have been quite so transparent about this than Jackson’s. They are, without doubt, the worst and most careless agents we’ve ever had to deal with. I strongly encourage you seek alternatives when renting.
