As first time buyers, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed dealing with James Castleman and the team at Jacksons in Balham. Very professional, knowledgeable and considerate of our needs. We particularly appreciated that James had only been showing us the most relevant properties matching our search criteria, rather than throwing at us every property he had in stock (which is what most other agents did). He was always on hand to answer our queries and questions. Although we ended up buying direct from a developer, leaving this review is the least I can do for James in return for his great service. I hope, James, you will still be around when the time comes to sell our property!

Jonathan, Tom, Helen and the team at Jacksons Balham have been brilliant throughout the sale of my flat. I previously used Jacksons Balham to let out my property for 2 years (that team were also great) and wasn’t disappointed with the Sales team. They were continuously proactive, communicative and trustworthy. They worked tirelessly to get the right buyer and ensured I was kept up to speed as well as my Solicitor. It also showed that they were giving a good service to the Buyer in parallel balancing both sides, and ensuring we all got through to exchange/completion. Jacksons Balham Office have a very well organised and effective process that ensured the sale of our house in its first week on the market! The whole team was great and worked together so well so that we were never kept waiting for responses or updates. In particular, the experience of Helen Cerpnjak who made the sale, indicated what a great communicator and negotiator she is. She builds up a personal rapport with both the buyer and the seller and ensures their voices are heard. Davina Alexis-Noel was the amazing mover and shaker once the offer was accepted, she ensured that both parties were responding to requests in a timely manner to ensure exchange of contracts and completion dates were met. The office functions perfectly with the competent Senior Administrator Nicole Pier who dealt with the marketing coordination of our property. While the home buying process is fairly painful, jackson’s Balham certainly made it less so! The sales team, and Tristan in particular, were excellent-worked around our schedule which included a sleeping baby, and managed to sell our flat in just a few short weeks and negotiate a price we were comfortable with. The after sale team also helped the process be as seamless as possible. Davina was relentless following up with both our solicitors and our buyers solicitors, with constant follow up to us and our buyer, ensuring nothing was amiss. Would highly recommend Jacksons.

Tom helped us throughout our a search to buy and I would highly recommend him. We spoke with dozens of different agents and Tom most definitely stood out amongst the others. On our first day of exploring Balham, we visited several different agencies and Tom was the only one who took the time to discuss our search and book us straight in for the following Monday - we were feeling very deflated before meeting him! Tom was super helpful and patient with us during our search and nothing was too much trouble. Thomas is the best selling manager we have ever met. He is very professional. The way he speaks and acts made people feel very reliable and honest. No matters what kind of questions, he always pays attention to that and tries his best to help. One of the most difficult part for us is negotiating the price. Incompetent at best, crooks at worst.As a tenant renting a Jacksons property, I have never found them to be anything short of useless and money-grubbing. Bear in mind, folks, that Jacksons get more money from landlords if they manage to drive you out of the property so they can re-list it. Myriad problems with the property have been reported and ignored, the letting agents cause constant miscommunication with late contracts, and on several occasions, lying to us about our rights as tenants. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
