Nothing but great things to say about Jacksons. We bought our house 10 years ago and recently sold our house through them and found them to be the best agents in the area (Balham) by a mile. Sophie was awesome.

Sophie at Jacksons Balham was so amazing. We had a very long drawn out, painful sale and the only thing that made it bearable was Sophie. She made us feel like there was at least some control in the selling process and walked us through each part of the process as they continued to come up. We didn't feel supported by our solicitors at all and relied on Sophie to help us understand what was required from each party involved. She was always easy to get in touch with and was always able to help keep us calm when the stress levels were going through the roof.

Jacksons Estate Agents are Amazing!! 5*!!I recently purchased a property in Earlsfield and my main points of contact were Emily Richards and Sophie Doughty. Both of them have been amazing to deal with and have consistently gone above and beyond to help wherever possible and made the whole buying process as easy as possible. It was also great that whenever I spoke to either Emily or Sophie, they were both on the same page and up to date on where we were in the process and latest information such as situations with solicitors and what was still outstanding.I can't recommend Emily, Sophie and Jacksons enough. What a great service

I bought my property from Jacksons a few years ago and was so pleased with their service that I decided to use them to sell it too. The entire process has been a pleasure with the service provided by their dedicated sales support manager Sophie Doughty worthy of special mention. Sophie has been astonishingly diligent on my behalf taking on the role of terrier when liaising continuously with both teams of solicitors and the purchaser to push along the difficult and energy sapping challenges that is todays sellers (and buyers) experience. Great service every step of the way

I'm a first time buyer and everyone at Jacksons was very helpful and supportive all the way through the process, from initial viewings until moving in. Thanks in particular to Sophie Doughty who went out of her way to help me. There were loads of issues with the solicitors which delayed things by several months but Sophie was always on my side and kept things moving in the right direction even when I was feeling frustrated and ready to give up on the property. Estate agents don't always have the best reputation but Sophie is one that you can trust :)

Bad attitude estate agent

I was surprised at there negative response to being in probate and not wanting to do a valuation. At the end of the day the house will be on the market soon enough but certainly not with this estate agent. I tried twice to get a valuation just in case it was just a bad day but same response. Certainly won't be recommending this agent to anyone.

Avoid at all costs. Very poor customer service throughout the tenancy, but particularly on vacating the property. Any opportunity to take your money, the Clapham office will - hidden fees and deductions are a constant. Incompetence is often masked with a perceived 'busyness' in their office and communication is severely lacking. Relaying false information between the landlord and tenants was a nice touch too. I won't be ever using this estate agent again.

Jonathan Mallet (Jonny) and Harry Laflin at Jacksons in Balham are incredible professionals. Our house was on the market for over two years requiring a lot of work, with several Estate Agents and not a solitary realistic offer. We achieved asking price within two weeks of our home being on the market with Jacksons - before the current stamp duty boom - with viewings only being undertaken by fully vetted potential purchasers. Jonny enabled the sale and was extremely kind, professional and honest throughout the process. Harry was an absolute superstar taking personal ownership in the months to exchange, never presenting problems only suggesting solutions. This was a complex sale beautifully handled by Harry with integrity, until we exchanged Harry was part of our family. I can't recommend Jacksons in Balham highly enough, we are indebted to them for resolving a problem which existed for many years and we wouldn't have our onward purchase with any other agents and so it turned out. Honestly we have dealt with literally every agent in Balham, they are estate agents - these guys at Jacksons really understood our needs and requirements; continuing to be attentive and extremely responsive, right through to our home being sold.
