I sold our Home in 6 Days after putting it on line. I saved £1300- £2000 by using this service and was in control 1st hand so got things through quickly ( no middle man ) The staff at I Am The Agent had the chance to charge me more when I asked for advice and they were really honest and advised I didn’t need to do anything else and I saved another £650 thanks to there honesty. If you have IT skills this is the way to go. Thanks to all at I Am The Agent.

We used I Am The Agent to let our property in January 2022, having previously used them in 2017. The process was efficient and the support on both the listing and contract process was really appreciated. We were able to get a strong list of potential tenants through the online advertisements and were really happy with the support from I Am The Agent. We also obtained an EPC and reference checking service and these were good as well.

We have been using I am the Agent for 4 years letting our flat. We have been successful in finding suitable tenants. Our advert seems to have been quite widely circulated and response has come quite quickly.Suggestions for improvement include a more flexible way of editing our photos and some way of including feedback on our experience with tenants.Thank you.

Dear Kabir, We are sorry to hear this feedback. As you can imagine for compliance and safety reasons of our users and the portals, we must receive IDs and proof of ownership on every listing. Any legitimate estate agency will request the same before marketing. In terms of developers we have one fee for developers, we are more then happy to discuss this further with you. We are predominantly online to keep costs low but you absolutely can call us or request a call back and the team will be in touch. Super sad about the 2 star review as these are our security protocols which are in place for owners and those searching more than our actual service. I hope you can reconsider this review. I signed up to this service many months before I finally 'pressed the button' to put my property on the market. The service provided is excellent, the support ever willing to go the 'extra mile', and has led to a successful 'sold subject to contract' position. The beauty of this system, was the ability to market my property on those major recognised sites, change photos myself on the fly and for them to be 'live' within minutes. One can work through the I Am The Agent site, or manage the interactions with interested parties directly, once validated by the site. No middleman to deal with. Be your own master. Talk with potential buyers direct, arrange viewings direct. even cancel a viewing if needs must, direct. Just covid, solicitors, local authorities, mortgage brokers, and lenders to get through now.

TrustpilotNo better than any other online agent
I'd have given 2.5 stars if I could. I chose IATA based on the good ratings, but I had a frustrating experience very similar to other online agents I've used. Communication by email is ok, but it's impossible (in my experience) to talk to anyone on the phone. The referencing service was good and speedy. However, there were fundamental errors in the tenancy agreement (including landlord and tenant names!) and it took a few goes to get it right and even then we inadvertently ended up signing the wrong version. IATA weren't at all proactive and seemed unwilling to be helpful. The "free" To Let board never arrived but I didn't need it anyway. If you prefer to do your own viewings (advisable when letting, I think) online agents are good value for money compared to high street agents who don't always get it right either. In future I'll buy the advertising-only package, pay separately for referencing, and do the tenancy agreement myself.

TrustpilotPoor service and impossible to get in touch with
We tried to use I Am The Agent for a sale. The whole model seems to be geared towards rentals and good reviews relate to that side of the business. We struggled to get viewings and the people who came for viewings told us they had to persevere to get through to IATA to view our property. We also found it very difficult to get hold of them. In the end we just went with another estate agent who sold our property within days for the same price. A real shame about the service.

Can't fault this service which is perfect for me as a small landlord. I don't want to pay £600 to a traditional agent when I can do it much cheaper here, and equally importantly, I'd rather look directly into my potential tenant's eyes rather than rely on various references supplied by people who won't be carrying the can when things go wrong. I offer good houses to good people, so I Am The Agent gets those good tenants directly to me for very modest money.

Used 2 years ago, suddenly got an email from someone wanting to look round even though I've had no interaction since then. Phoned them and someone lied saying my flat wasn't up for rent when it was. Asked for someone to call me back, they never did.

GoogleLet's see. Four attempts, over a week, simply to view a property, appreciate sometimes it's hard to contact a vendor, but a call bk out of courtesy would not go a miss! Certainly would not use them to market one of our properties! No continuity, clueless!
