The word Power has a very distinct definition: "the ability or capacity to do something or act in a particular way." In my first ever encounter with I AM THE AGENT, after I had searched far and wide for an Agency to provide marketing services for my property, I encountered Claire Power. Claire is that rarity in service led businesses in that she understands the key to differentiating an organisation over and above the cost of goods is the service that is offered. Even after I made a bit of a blunder with my I.D. verification and property upload, Claire persevered with me and found a route out of my idiocy... I must have sent her 20 emails over 24 hours, and never once was she not polite, not receptive and not cordial. Employees like Claire are what make the exchange of goods and services a joy. There are too few Claires in this world. Service beyond expecation and 5 Stars for the entire process. I would highly recommend Claire and I AM THE AGENT to market your property. Outstanding!!! Thank you again, Claire.

I initially had some trepidation about using a smaller online agent to market our house but after one call with their office I knew I was in safe hands. I Am The Agent organised our photos within a few days of our order and our property was up and live within a week. A week later, after a few evenings making calls to potential buyers and a day and a half of viewings we sold for a great price, and saved ourselves £5k+ of agency fees. I had an appointment to see a flat. When I got there at the agreed time the agent Claire was showing a guy round; she indicated to me to look around too which I did - but she wouldn't engage with me when I wanted to ask questions. Currently using this service for the second time to rent my flat. Website is very easy to navigate and customer service have been really helpful when I contacted them. They get your listing onto the right websites to generate interest but it's so much more reasonable price wise than the commercial agents who take a significant portion of rent just for finding tenants. Would highly recommend to any landlord who is willing to do their own viewings and just needs to get the listing to the right people

Amazing service, don’t think twice!

I decided to give a chance to I am The Agent to let out our property in London. And I am so glad I did that instead of any real estate agency as everything went so smoothly with a very small charge. We got an offer for the asking price on the day and everything was sorted in a week. It was my first time letting out a property so was a little nervous but Kris and Lynton has been very professional and helpful throughout the process. They responded to all my questions so quickly and in a very informative manner, I was very impressed. I bought the whole shebang and also inventory service they provide. They did a very thorough job on credit checks and prepared a good tenancy agreement where you can make amendments if you would like. Inventory clerk was very good and detailed too. I Am The Agent offers a great alternative to using an estate agent, which can often lead to frustration and confusion. There is no doubt when using IATA that they are on YOUR side! Dealing directly with the buyer adds clarity to whole procedure. With an easy-to-use online platform , great customer service and helpful add-ons, I would fully recommend this option. If you have a relatively straight-forward sale you could save thousands and move on really quickly.

IAMTHEAGENT, is the REAL DEAL. I have used it now for as long as they have been going 15 YEARS. It get"s you STRAIGHT on to ZOOPLA, RIGHTMOVE, and Primelocation without ANY FUSS. No double logging in, nothing. It wipes the pants of ANY estate agent or agency. You pay maybe 99GBP each time you list, and it is virtually straight up on the above sites. So think about it like this.... Any other agent will ask you to pay 1,500 for a let of 1,500, or, the same as your entiire rent for a month. That's your entire rent!!! Any other agent would also ask the tenant to pay the same!!!! IAMTHEAGENT cuts those costs but keeps you just as safe. Because I control everything easily myself, I don't have to worry about lazy lousy agents doing their job. IAMTHEAGENT, holds your hand all the way. Be ready to have proof of ownership and your mortgage handy, and familiarise yourself with Deposit Protection Service (DPS), handling that separately yourself. Never use Tenant deposit Scheme, too hard. But back to IAMTHEAGENT. I love that you get an email notification everytime someone is interested. Be prepared to step up yourself and contact them on their email and no. provided. I had 70 my first use, within the first day... that's 70 PEOPLE interested. I politely got back to all and was able to interview the ones I was interested in first on phone and then upon their viewing. Tip, (arrange your viewing safely... i.e make sure someone knows where you are, and maybe even have them live on a whatsapp call with you, I do that with my colleague who manages the house for me). She also does deep cleans for me every month, so I can check on maintenance and quality, contact me if you wanna know about that, contact Iamtheagent with my landlord agent ID 4920496, and ask to get in touch with me. But IAMTHEAGENT is the best business I have come across. I love the photo controls for example, I can swap them around, order them how I want, and as many as I want. TIP... use all IAMTHEAGENT tips about describing your place... it makes things simpler. But bare in mind, tenants might not read ANYTHING, and they make mistakes, and misunderstanding... so much better to call them first to make sure they understand what they are looking at, and ALWAYS paste the link back to them if emailing, with the IATA number, so they remember what they have viewed. It's BOTH the price, and the convenience of having all paperwork you need to do it yourself, WITH help, and 24 hour response time to any of your questions. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Iamtheagent. I am a very hard sell, but this is the best in the market. I will never use an estate agent, only Iamtheagent.

Dealing with the estate of the deceased owner of a lovely sem-rural cottage property in Scotland, we firstly used the services of a prominent Scottish estate agents with multiple branches. After 8 months on the market, and with only a few viewings, mostly time wasters, we turned to I Am The Agent. This allowed us to directly control marketing content, buyer interest, schedule viewings, etc. Viewing levels were much stronger - property sale completed within 4 months. Highly impressed with I Am The Agent. A Quick and efficient way to sell my property, resulting in the saving of tens of thousands of pounds in Estate Agency fees! I was more than happy to use an online agent and do the photos, viewings and everything associated with selling my property. I only needed the online agent as a portal to get the property on Rightmove. So everything successful my end until I received a message from a potential buyer saying - Property not in the correct location and no I do not want any details". When I looked onto the Rightmove website my property was indeed in the wrong location. Not by a few meters but by over 40 miles??? I had put in the correct postcode but somewhere along the line I Am The Agent system threw it completely out. Several weeks, emails, phone calls later and after I Am The Agent tried to tell me initially I had put the postcode in wrong! It finally got resolved. It only got resolved because I directly contacted Rightmove and only then was something done to correct the issue. However it didn't last long. Within a few days it was once again 40 miles out. The long and short of the situation is that I Am The Agents software is not 100% compatible and when someone goes into the system for any reason it was making the location jump out. Every time I checked within the 14 weeks contract it had jumped out. Funny enough the property didn't sell as all enquiries where for 40 miles away. I spent £175 and did not receive the service expected when there was an issue. If I Am The Agent had done as it was supposed to i.e put my property correctly on websites such as Rightmove then I am sure I would have been giving a different review. I will NOT use I Am The Agent again.

I really liked I Am The Agent. I chose the 'do it all yourself' option, which I guess wouldn't be everyone's choice, but it gave me the most control over everything. I liked being able to give the personal touch, and the people viewing liked that too. I liked the fast turn-around for appointments - no more left messages or waiting in a queue. I liked being able to write my own property description, take our own pictures and move things around when I wanted to, and almost all of the viewers mentioned it. I liked that I set the sale price (unlike some of the competitors). I liked being able to manage communication with the viewers, and eventually handling negotiations myself instead of at arms length. I liked the long time limit - again, better than some of the competition. And obviously, I liked the reduced cost compared to a conventional estate agent 🙂 I had some questions in the early stages, but they were answered quickly, clearly and patiently. The house is just sold subject to contract so far, so there's a way to go yet, but IAM have been good.
