Working with H&G’s Phil Coombes was a real pleasure right from the viewings stage through to completion. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and listens carefully to what his clients are looking for in their new homes. Not once did he show me a place with too few bedrooms or that was wildly over budget; after meeting around ten agents during my search, H&G was alone in this. Phil also gives his clients space and time during viewings so they can make their own minds up about the look and feel of a property. To me, this was really valuable. After our offer was accepted, he worked hard and efficiently towards a smooth completion. We are very happy to recommend him, and H&G, to anyone looking to buy in W6.

I have know and worked with Martin and Phil for many years now and have found them to be fabulous to deal with. I find properties for clients to buy in the area and I know every time I liaise with them I will be greeted with enthusiasm, sound knowledge and a willingness to go the extra mile. It is a tricky market at the moment and sellers need agents who are prepared to do more than just list their property. I recently let my property through Horton and Garton and I found them to be very efficient and straight forward. For example, the day after the property was advertised, a suitable tenant was already found. Furthermore, they were very helpful with any queries that I had and delivered prompt responses that perfectly answered my questions. I cannot recommend Horton and Garton highly enough, predominantly for their professionalism and effectiveness. In particular, I found Ashley Clements, the letting manager and Delia from the administration particularly helpful in providing a smooth process in terms of getting the property onto the letting market. Phil Coombes was also very accommodating in terms of giving me all the relevant advice that I needed when making crucial decisions for the purchase of the property and properties in general. Very good experience through the whole process of selling during a very changeable time - post Brexit. John Horton kept us updated in the early stages and Martin Clements who handled our sale was thoroughly professional throughout and a pleasure to deal with. Having previously had bad a experience with a large agency when letting my flat, I was nervous about having to use one to sell it. And initially, I only contacted H&G as they'd sold the flat above mine, and I intended to compare a number of agencies. I'm pleased to say that from the moment we met, Martin gave us such confidence in his ability and his manner that we didn't feel the need to meet anyone else. His relaxed yet professional style put us at ease and he was both positive and realistic throughout the process. We felt comfortable that a large chain of agencies was not required to get us a good sale. Catie and John were also informed and enthusiastic about our property and we were pleased with the number of viewings we had. When it came to negotiating the sale, Martin gave very helpful, patient advice and he made the fact that we'd returned to NZ no problem at all. As soon as the sale was agreed, Martin was proactively nudging the process forward. I'm sure the sale and subsequent exchange only came to fruition thanks to his gentle but persuasive manner in getting us over the line! I would not hesitate to recommend Martin and the team.
